I,Am (1)
Deon C Sanders Deno Sandz

At first, when darkness covered the earth and the sun rested in the propensity of God, entrenched in the darkness was I,AM - a force of relentless evil. A force waiting for the chance to introduce misery into the unsuspecting lives of humans that God would eventually create. Contemplating the opportunity to torment their human bodies in the flesh and entangling their souls forever in evil and death.
Who was the force behind the uprising in Heaven against God and His Angels? The written word of the bible acknowledges Satan as the agitator; However, as we find out through mythology and pagan cultures of ancient times, Satan did not act of his own free will. He was influenced by this entity of true anger, evil and power beyond power.
This entity was neither male nor female, living nor dead, flesh nor spirit, good nor evil, merciful nor malicious, alpha nor omega, beginning nor end, hope nor hopelessness. Its name was no name. To encounter it was endless and to understand it was futile. Hades was a sand box compared to the vast wilderness of its Armageddon. As the battle continued between God and Satan, Satan began losing and called out to the unknown for help. In a loud voice, I,AM, I,AM, I,AM could be heard across time. But just as temptation had placed Satan at the forefront of battle, temptation had left him there - all alone. As the battle came to a close, Satan had fallen to the power of God and his Angels, but God, in all of his glory granted mercy to Satan and did not destroy him. He instead, banished him to hell for all eternity. And God, in all of his infinite wisdom, found out that Satan had not acted along so God sent for this entity I,AM. I,AM believing himself to be more powerful than God, as Satan had decided to make an appearance in Heaven. When I,AM arrived, God immediately ordered His Angel of War to lock him in the pit of mourning until God could complete Heaven and begin creating the earth.
Suddenly, a great rumble could be heard across Heaven. I,AM broke away from Aaron, the war angel, pushing him to the ground, I,AM hurriedly ran up to the front steps leading to the throne of God, stood boldly and postured, and challenged God to a battle. Knowing the outcome, God agreed. For a short period of time, a fierce battle between God and I,AM ensued. Suddenly, striking I,AM with the Lance of Transgression breaking his being in to three pieces of shimmering rock, the almighty God prevailed. So God being filled with happiness completed Heaven and began creating the earth.
Now, the earth was formless, empty, and darkness laid over the surface of the deep and God's spirit hovered over the waters. There was no light so God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. He separated the light from the darkness calling it "day" and the darkness he called "night". And there was evening, and there was morning-- the first day.
Then God made an expanse between the waters separating the water under the expanse from the water above it, calling the expanse "sky". And there was evening, and there was morning--the second day. Next, God gathered the water under the sky to one place, letting dry ground appear. Calling the dry ground "land" and the gathered waters "seas".
Still, God's work was not done. So God ordered the land to produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that would bear fruit with seeds in them, according to their various kinds. And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day.
On the fourth day God made two great lights--the greater light was to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars, setting them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And there was evening, and there was morning.
The next day, which was the fifth day, God pondered for a minute, raised his head and created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water produces, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. Blessing them to be fruitful and increase in numbers and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. And there was evening, and there was morning.
On the last day before God could rest. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. Then, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created male and female. God blessed them both to be fruitful and increase in number to fill the earth and subdue it. To rule over the fish of the sea,the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves on
the ground. God gave them every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it to be their food. God also gave to all the beasts of the earth, the birds of the air, and all the creatures that move on the ground green plants for food. And there was evening, and there was morning.
Thus, the Heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. And God, on the seventh day began to rest.
God sat down on his throne glancing down upon the three shimmering pieces of I,AM that laid their so peacefully. He thought and thought for awhile then decided to cast I,AM into three different parts of the new world. He chucked the first rock into the bottom of the Black Sea near the shores of Odessa. He propelled the second rock into the hottest part of what would become the Sahara desert in Algeria hidden under mountains of sand. Then, with great thunder, God threw the
last rock to the top of where the North pole would be, near Greenland. The rock landed in a frozen iceberg under a massive peak on the tip of the Arctic Ocean.
Finally, there was peace in Heaven again and the world was free from both Satan and I,AM, at least for awhile. See God understood humankind's curiosity and knew that eventually, man would summon the entity once again.

Chapter 1

Messenger of God

Thousands of years passed into the days of Ancient Africa starting around 1000 A.D. during the ruling days of Mansa Musa of Timbuktu. There were myths about a scroll made of Golden fabric and within it written in detail, in the blood of I,AM was the story of the battle between God and I,AM; the Armageddon. There was also a map that showed where the three pieces of I,AM, as well as the Lance of Transgression could be found.
Legends tell that located in the deepest cave in the vast mountains of Egypt, written in hieroglyphics at the lair's entrance of the cave, were the markings of the fallen Angels of the battle in Zion. At the end of the Angel's Mural of Honor
were three steps leading down to a scroll and the Lance of Transgression that sat on a small pillar of cloudy grayish mist. Surrounding these objects was a circular moat filled with untouchable water. To cross the moat, one had to walk across the untouchable water with a pure heart and the spirit of God. This untouchable water showed no reflection, was neither cold nor hot, and had a metallic mercury feel and luster that would cling to the skin like a flesh eating virus. Evaporating the body leaving nothing but the soul to rest in the dust from which we all come.
As years passed and decades ran into centuries, the myth of the Golden scroll faded and was soon forgotten. However, around about the nineteen hundreds in Egypt, the myth of the
Golden scroll began to resurface. Due to the widespread of unholy men and women throughout the motherland's. Ghana, Mali, and Niger rulers met and decided to begin a quest for the
Golden Scroll. Islamic beliefs in one God were shared by Ghana, Mali, and Niger cities. Also, believing that one of them could actually find the lost scroll and bring back peace and holiness to the unholy motherland. Soldiers were picked from each city for this quest and were called the Messengers of God.
There were thirty attempts for the Golden scroll between Ghana, Mali, and Niger and considering this high number no one ever returned. Disappointed by the unsuccessful search, the three rulers decide to put a halt to the quests. Although, they all found away to honor the messengers by having a festival in their cities, to let all people know about the ultimate sacrifice they gave. It is said that the three festivals were on the same day and the entire city was invited. Even the prisoners, the slaves, and the workers were allowed to attend, which meant no one worked on that day but the King's castle. These city festivals were the last festivals
thrown to honor anyone man, woman, or child. Even future kings would not have a festival of this magnitude to honor them. The location of these three festivals, in these three cities has never been confirmed and probably will never be confirmed.
It was twenty years since the last Messenger of God was sent by Ghana to find the Golden Scroll. In 1955, a twenty-one year old dark skinned male monk of African descent from India named Kumhuma embarked on his last stage of faith at his monastery. Kumhuma began his pilgrimage of faith with no destination in mind, only a purpose of finding his own inner-existence through his journey, returning as the ultimate spiritual being touched by God. With only his Bible, Kumhuma left the monastery at midday. Not allowed to bring rations of water or food, he wore no sandals, and his robe was made of material from potato sacks. A section of rope from a well
bucket about the monastery kept his robe closed. In the midst, there was silence as he walked the long path through the courtyard. It was as if he was walking with Moses through the Red Sea. The chief monks stood in line on both sides of him. As he reached the last two monks, he stopped and turned to the eldest monk and bowed. Kumhuma pulled the hood over his head and walked out of the front gate. Kumhuma paused for a moment as the wood gate behind him closed. Kumhuma was leaving the old world he knew behind those doors, marching into a new world that would test his faith.
Kumhuma's journeys lead him through India and into Calcutta. At night he took refuge under trees or behind tents hoping to be heated by their fires. In about thirty days, he reached Calcutta. During his travels through Calcutta, he was shunned in the streets by people who had no spirituality. Kumhuma continued his journey on to Pakistan which took him
ninety more days. His travels did not end with Pakistan. He made it to Iran and continued on through to Saudi Arabia which he faced obstacles such as mesas and desert heat. Since, the desert heat could limit mobility he slept in the day time and traveled at night. As Kumhuma reached Egypt, he looked upon it with splendor. Feeling the heat from the morning sky upon his face, Kumhuma fell to his knees and thanked God for protecting him on his journey. "Egypt, oh Egypt where Moses lead his people out of bondage", Kumhuma spoke in a faint voice. His pilgrimage was finally over. But before he could return home he had to pray until the moon changed places with the sun. Kumhuma rose and continued his walk trying to find a tranquil place for prayer.
In the distance, Kumhuma saw a cave that he could use for shelter because the mid-day air smelled of rain. This cave did not look like any other cave. It looked large from a
distance but as he got closer it seemed to get smaller and smaller. As Kumhuma walked the path toward the cave one side of the path was blistering cold, the other side was lave hot, and the air in the middle was difficult to breathe. Once he reached the cave, he saw that embedded on the top of the cave were words you would see on a head stone of a departed loved one. Kumhuma tried to wipe away the dirt and sand that covered the words to read them. Mysteriously, his hands went straight through the wall of rock. At that moment the cave's entrance was large enough for a man to fit through. However, when Kumhuma touched the words a second time, the hole became just large enough for only a lizard to crawl through. He did not understand what was happening, but his faith was infinite. The words etched on the stone above the cave entrance were in ancient Hebrew and it read: "Art thou an angel, enter, if not, breaching this portal constitutes
death". Kumhuma thought about it for a minute, coming to the conclusion that God was with him and that his hand had already went through once and nothing happened. So Kumhuma mustered up his faith, took a deep breathe and walked right through the stone wall into the resting place of the Golden Scroll. But Kumhuma was unaware of this at that time. Kumhuma entered the dark cavern with only a shadow of blue light emanating from the untouchable water to guide him through. Marveling, at the walls that were absorbed with the names of the fallen Angels, he slowly proceeded toward the scroll, deciphering the hieroglyphics, and mumbling as he touched each one. Michael, Paul, Simon, and so on until he reached the edge of the steps leading down to the scroll.
In amazement, there in front of him lay the Golden Scroll with the Lance of Transgression on top of it. His body became paralyzed in place, his eyes grew larger, and then smaller
trying to focus on something that has never been encountered by humankind. Proceeding down the steps to the untouchable water his heart began beating out-of-control, and the perspiration from his brow began to drip profusely. Reaching the circular moat, he paused, looking around in a three hundred-degree angle, that revealed nothing but darkness along the walls and ground, except for the light from the water. The radiance from the Lance of Transgression and the Golden Scroll that reflected off the water blinded him briefly, but he was able to refocus after a minute or two. Kumhuma clinched his hands with fingers extended as if he were about to pray, looking down at the moat and back up at the scroll, and the Lance of Transgressions. It was time for Kumhuma to actually be judged by his own faith. As he extended his leg, not staring at the untouchable water, he placed it on top of the untouchable water. His leg was not consumed by the water so
he raised his other leg and proceeded to walk across the moat with a pure heart and the spirit of God.
Suddenly, the mist that the scroll and amulet were settled on became a stone pillar as he reached the island surrounded by untouchable water. Reaching out, Kumhuma seized the scroll and amulet in one maneuver. As he stood there on the shore, he opened the scroll and the pages were unfilled.
Suddenly, illustrations including text began to appear of the battle in heaven, realistic in nature. Kumhuma could actually feel and visualize all that had transpired in Heaven. Feeling all the pain that the angels went through, Kumhuma quickly closed the scroll and placed the Lance of Transgression around his neck for safe keeping. When he turned to walk back over the moat, a loud voice suddenly called out for him by name. "Kumhuma you are of great faith and you will be called,
from this day the Golden Messenger of God," spoke God. "But what must, I do now father," asked Kumhuma in a faint voice. God spoke, "You shall take the scroll back to the monastery to be placed in a hidden chamber to rest there forever." "Why can't the scroll stay here," asked Kumhuma? "On your pilgrimage from India you unsuspectingly were followed by the lost souls of Satan and they have never been able to find this place until now. They are only able to see the future of man not of me," God replied. "But do not worry, the lost souls cannot enter into this holy place so you are safe," God continued. "But the amulet you must keep and give it to your brother, for one day I,AM, the entity will rise again to harm humankind," explained God. Kumhuma not knowing who I,AM was, proceeded to journey back to his monastery.
On his journey, God walked with him to protect him from the lost souls. During his journey to the monastery, he had
time to comprehend and review the Golden Scroll discovering its mystery and who I,AM actually was. Through Calcutta while reading the scroll, he could actually see in front of him a mirage of heaven and the war. Visions of what I,AM looked like would come in unfocused and blurred. The reason for this could not be explained by Kumhuma. It could have been that in death the evil I,AM still held his powers and did not want humans to know how it looked.
Four months later, Kumhuma reached his monastery and revealed to them what he had been through and showed them the Golden scroll. Never showing them the amulet because of the oath he gave God. The eldest monk praised the exertion of his young monk and asked him behind closed chambers to find a place to hide the Golden Scroll. However, while Kumhuma and the eldest monk, were hiding the Golden Scroll in a safe place. Sholuma, a new monk to the monastery who was still holding
onto materialistic things of the world was eavesdropping on them, with dollar signs of a reward quenching his greed. Sholuma's plan, was to contact someone on the outside of the monastery to let them know of their spiritual discovery.
Now, Kumhuma, the chief monk, and the other monks, never knew this monk had been spying. So the entire temple went forward in peace for about fifteen years. Kumhuma wore the amulet under his garment, keeping it from the eyes of the other monks. I guess it took Sholuma awhile to establish contact and get the information outside of the gates of the Islamic Peace Temple.
Nevertheless, in 1970, a brigade of American mercenaries stormed the temple walls. They were searching for the Golden Scroll from a tip from Sholuma. The mercenaries gathered all the monks in the court yard and the Judas lead them to the hiding place of the Scroll. Kumhuma
was so outdone, he could not hold his spiritual composure. But God whispered in his ear and calmed him down. Having no spiritual atonement the mercenaries started to burn down the temple on the orders of the Captain. Most of the monks resented being herded like prisoners, so they resisted by throwing rocks and attacking them with staffs.
Suddenly, the mercenaries retaliated opening fire on all of them. However, Kumhuma escaped through a secret wall in the temple's church. Now, the Judas who gave the location of the Golden Scroll was the last to die. Pleading for his life as he sat on the ground, screaming that he was the one who gave them the information. "If you would give up your soul for money you should not live," spoke the Captain. At the end of the Captain's speech to Sholuma the soldier on the left of the Captain raised his assault rifle and fired one shot into the head of the traitor. "Find the other one," ordered the Captain.
With the soldiers hot on Kumhuma's trail shelter was all he could think about.
Finally, Kumhuma made it to his friend's house who he had met before he became a monk. Kumhuma knocked frantically on the front door. "Who is it," asked Tumh? "It is Kumhuma," answering back. The door swung open. "Kumhuma what's wrong," Tumh asked? Kumhuma was out of breath but he spoke and said, " my friend, God is with you." He walked through the door and Tumh embraced him, affixing the door behind them. "My friend I must retire from this area, the American mercenaries are after me to kill me and my other brothers are already dead," explained Kumhuma. "You can stay here until this situation blows over," replied Tumh. "No, God will protect me," answering back. Kumhuma grabbed a shirt and a pair of pants out of the closet breaking the record for the fastest dresser. "Can I have a large padded envelope," asked
Kumhuma? "Yes," answered Tumh. Kumhuma reached around his neck, lifted the Lance of Transgression off of it and placed the amulet inside the envelope with a letter
to his parents. The letter explained what had happened and
compelling them to give the amulet to his brother when he becomes of age.
Now, his brother Michael, who was not born when he departed Chicago for the monastery, was two years old, with his destiny already arranged for him by God. Kumhuma always remained in touch with his parents and exported his little brother gifts every chance he got. Kumhuma was undoubtedly pure of heart. "My friend could you please mail this envelope today, it must be mailed today," explained Kumhuma. "Yes, I will my friend, but can you tell me what is in this envelope of such importance,"asked Tumh. "If I inform you, your existence as you know it will be in great danger," replied Kumhuma. Tumh provided Kumhuma with a loaf of bread, a pouch of water, and guided him to an underground passage that was in his bedroom. This passage was constructed by a great king, years ago to escape from his palace during war times, but the palace has been gone for a long time. "It will carry you to a river that's about a mile from here," stated Tumh. "Thank you," replied Kumhuma. As kumhuma traveled through the tunnel he could hear the soldiers on the top of him until he reached the point of the tunnel that showed light.
In the minds of the mercenaries the hunt for the Golden Messenger of God was over. They found a monk's robe floating in the river, so they assumed that kumhuma was breakfast food for a crocodile. Kumhuma had disappeared, and was never seen again, by anyone. Except for-------

Chapter 2

Resurrection of I,AM

The Golden Scroll was taken back by the mercenaries to the United States, to be studied by archeologist, scientist, museum procurers, and theologians from around the world. The mission for the Golden Scroll was financed by Egypt, Europe, India and the United States behind the back of the President of the United States. Years, passed and the deciphering of the Golden Scroll was accomplished by an Islamic spiritualist, sent for by a secret agency in the United States in the fall of 1987. The Islamic spiritualist worked secretively with Egypt, Europe, India, and the United
States to make the search for the three parts of I,AM. Agreeing that once the three parts were found, they would be studied in a private governmental area in Egypt. Then, the three pieces would be given to the United States to be put in a museum for the people of the world to compliment them on their find. It took this team of geniuses eleven years to find all of the pieces of this entity. Each piece was put into a special containment unit for their protection and flown to the secret government place. As the pieces were being studied no one knew that I,AM was starting to regain its power, because all three pieces were together again. After all the experiments and extensive studies were done the team still could not find out whether the pieces were organisms, or if they were from this world.
So the pieces were transported to the Archeological Museum of Chicago, in the fourth month of 1999. This find

I,Am (2)

was to be regarded as the most sensational attraction in Chicago since the King Tut exhibit. On the way to the museum five out of six men flying with the pieces was mysteriously killed in their lassitude. Their eyes were blackened, their skin was like stone, and their hair color was completely white. When the pilot landed in Chicago, he went into shock from what he had seen. The federal authorities investigated the deaths and found no evidence on how the deaths occurred. Everything else on the plane appeared to be in place and the pieces of I,AM were also in tack. With the attraction advertised all over the world it was too late to turn back. The incident on the plane had to be hidden. Matter of fact, it was sweep under the rug and never verbalized about again. Even the aviator that survived never worked again and was said to had murdered himself in his home two weeks after the landing.
During this time, Michael, Kumhuma's brother had
achieved his thirty-fifth birthday. He had been married for seven years and was a homicide Detective for the Chicago Police Department in the downtown area. Michael had been wearing the amulet since he was nineteen, with premonitions of heaven and the war coming to him in his dreams for the last twelve years. Michael, a decorated cop was admired by other officers as a loyal and fearless person. Michael always talked about his brother, Kumhuma. He possessed a gold painted statuette of an Islamic priest, sent to him when he was two years old by Kumhuma. It sat on his night table next to his bed. Also, on Michael's night table next to his bed was a picture of his brother, that was taken before he left to become a monk.
Michael's destiny was virtually at hand, but unknowing to him, it would take more than a badge and a gun to challenge this. On some nights as he sat in his police car, he thought he
saw his brother off in the distant darkness safeguarding him.
Nevertheless, days before the exhibit the City of Chicago was in a condition of pandemonium, signs were being put up to publicize this event and news coverage existed as if the President of the United States was arriving in town. The Crim de la crim of societies elite were preparing for the grand opening of the exhibit, which would be on Friday at eight o'clock p.m.. Michael was called in to head-up security on Wednesday, obviously with the collaboration of the Mayor's office and the museum. The security cameras were in position and the exit doors were on time locks.
However, the three pieces were displayed in a separate room on the North wing of the museum, guarded with a laser light detection system. But the ignorance of the government and museum would momentarily be seen. Know one knew that if the stones stayed together the power of I,AM would begin to
make its way back from its sleeping death. The three fragments were placed in a glass case, each elevated on a metal motionless mantle. The glass cabinet was covered with a white cloth with ropes attached to them for the unveiling. Set up around the glass case were one hundred chairs for the spectators and a balcony for the news crews to set up. The gala was being broadcasted all over the world in over sixty different languages.
The day was set, the hours till the occasion were counting down to the moment the world was waiting for. The symposium outside of the museum was building, people were bustling up in droves. Chicago's Mayor was the first to arrive, with his wife and a following of security personnel. Detective Michael Zeiss was set-up inside and everything was ready. People tactfully moved to their prospective seats and under the cloth the three pieces of I,AM were, negotiating their
miraculous resurrection on the unsuspecting humans. Michael stood at the front entrance while other guards cornered off each section of the room. Mr. Veans, the museum CEO stood up as the noise level in the room started to subside. He walked toward the podium that was fixated in front of the disabled entity. "Good evening and welcome to the Archeology Museum of Chicago," spoke Mr. Veans. The crowd of distinguished men and women all applauded in perfect harmony. Mr.Veans proceeded to acknowledge the presence of the head archeologist on the find, Mr. Howard Thomas Spaulding III who was known by scientist all over the world for his great discoveries. Mr. Spaulding talked for a few minutes on the examination of the pieces and the Golden Scroll from which the entire search derived from. As he spoke no one noticed, except Detective Zeiss, the small amount of gas that was emanating from under the cloth. It must have been the amulet sensing the
entity, so Michael's optical vision was strengthened. Michael proceeded to move closer, secretively so the audiences stability would not unnerve. Nevertheless, as Michael made it to the front row of the seats, miraculously the gas faded away, making him very suspicious and nervous at the same time. However, he did not let the audience or the other guards know what was transpiring. Michael waited for a moment and then receded back to his original position. As the unveiling began, the audience became quiet. The Mayor was called up to pull the rope to raise the cloth on the I,AM exhibit. Michael's eyes were focused on the rope, the cover and then the three stones sealed in the glass cases. The crowd stared for a moment at the pieces and then a line began to form from the rear like a church offering, everyone walking around to get a closer look at the exhibit. The stones lay dormant and showed no reflection on the mirrored glass case. Michael was the only
one that noticed this, the other people were to busy gazing at the stones, and as the precession ended Michael was the last person to gaze upon the pieces.
Strangely, enough a feeling unknown to Michael, came over him making it very hard to focus on the stones and blurred visions of the battle in Heaven filled his head. "You all right sir," asked a newly recruited officer in the room? "Yes, I am okay I just lost my breath for a moment," replied Michael. During Michael's little episode the high class spectators were walking out of the exhibit room to congregate in the foyer for drinks and socializing. The officers removed all of the chairs ,secured the room, and activated the security system before leaving. The upper balcony where the news cameras were set-up, a lonely camera stood. It was operating unmanned because the camera person had to run and make an important telephone call. As the officers exited the room and closed the doors, the
camera started to pick up the manifestation of the entity, frame by frame. The glass case began to crack slowly, the fumes became thicker and thicker that emanated from the case, and the stones began to irradiate green as if they were talking with each other. Suddenly, the stones dimmed in color, the smoke subsided, and the glass case returned to its past form.
Mysteriously, the camera began to misplace its height for function. First, it was forehead level to an adult, then down to shoulder height, then it proceeds to the knee height of a newborn, and then collided with the floor with silence. The party was still going on, outside of the modern day mausoleum. With the action on the outside of the museum viewed beautifully through the masterpiece windows that set three inches from each other around the perimeter of the museum. It showed the ambience of Chicago enhanced by the night's sky with reflections from news cameras and their flash bulbs,
cascading the ground level of the city. The Mayor had departed around nine o'clock p.m. from the North side of the museum, ducking cameras.
Meanwhile, Detective Zeiss was on his way upstairs while I,AM was, conducting its transformation process. The security room for the entire museum was on the second floor. The cameras and the alarm systems were monitored by two qualified security officers. Now, inside the room the cameras were not picking up the activity originating from the exhibit room, until Detective Zeiss arrived at the door twisting the knob to enter, coincidence maybe. Then, miraculously the cameras began to function properly and the fuzzy screen refocused to a perfect picture of the exhibit room. The security officers looked at each other as if the cameras were waiting for Detective Zeiss to walk through the door before they would function properly. "Where are the cameras for the
exhibit room", asked Michael? Officer Stewart was seating on the left side of the trigger boxes which armed the laser floor, sprinkling system and the alarm sensor.
Now, Stewart, a two-month employee with conventional morals melting away in his heart, started to run his mouth off, but decided not say anything. He didn't want anybody in the security room for to long of a time. Steward never watched the cameras, he always watched t.v., signing the time sheets as if he were actually making his rounds around the museum. Officer Stewart knew that if he told the Detective what really was happening, police would be overseeing the security room all evening. Michael proceeded to view the cameras closely, but there was nothing, no movement- no smoke- no nothing. "This is my card, if anything happens weird tonight give me a call at this number," asked Michael. Handing cards to both of them while taking another look at the cameras before he left
for the evening. Michael walked to the door, closing it slowly trying to hear if the two officers were saying something of importance. As he made his way out of the front museum doors to a lonely and quiet parking lot. The news people had departed the scene and the museum exhibit programs were all over the ground. As Michael walked across the lifeless parking lot, he unearthed an imperceptible noise that sounded like it was saying I,AM. He turned around quickly and there was nothing behind him. Michael shook his head and proceeded to his car and got in. Michael pulled his seat belt around him and grabbed a CD out of his CD bag. He removed his fire arm that was in the small of his back, sitting it on the passenger seat. As he started his car he took another glimpse at the museum.
Suddenly, the sky above the museum began to turn chartreuse. Michael wiped his eyes to refocus and then it was gone. However, on the front steps of the museum there stood
a man just staring at him. Michael threw his car in drive, tires skidding as he made a rigorous turn to make his way up to the steps. He was about one hundred yards from the steps, reaching down taking his eyes off the man for a brief second to retrieve his gun. When he looked up, the man was gone. Slowing to a halt right before he hit the steps of the museum. Michael swooped out of his car, his back against the car door, sliding around the car searching for the mysterious man.
After realizing that the man was no where in sight, he lifted his head up, placing both hands on his face with the gun in his right hand. "Oh God what is happening to me," mumbled Michael? Michael turned, reached out for the door handle and got in. He drove off with his headlights off, never realizing this until he got home.

Chapter 3

Unsuspecting Mary

Now, back at the museum the guards were not knowledgeable of what was about to transpire. The museum staff consisted of more than just two guards who sat in the security room all night. There were foot patrols also, four in total that canvasses the museums North, South, East, West entrances and surrounding areas. They always switched up, rotating counterclockwise every couple of hours. Out of the four, two were male and the other two were female. Mary, a Caucasian woman was nine months pregnant, about to drop
any day. Dorothy, an undergraduate at Loop University was working to pay her tuition and was half Asian and half African.
However, Mary was the one who's two hour spans situated her right precisely in to the lions jaws. Darwin, another guard had just ended his term at the north section of the building. Paul would never get his chance at that section, because he was the last on the rotation. Now, Mary had checked the last doors before the door to the exhibit room, and all was well. Cameras in the security room had started acting like they did earlier that evening. I,AM was finally awakening from his worldly slumber, that was cast on it at the beginning of time. Mary walked fairly hindered, due to the fact of the weight she had to carry around. She was huge, her belt barely went around her, her breasts were just about to jump out of her shirt, and her derriere could eclipse the sun. Mary arrived at the exhibit room, swiping her security card through the
sensor key. This notified the system that a security person was entering the room. The first time she swiped her card the light showed red, meaning no entrance. Looking confused for a minute, she repositioned the key card for a second swipe. The card went through and the green light showed up on the swipe panel and the doors clicked telling her that the door was open. Switching on her flash light, Mary proceeded into the room touching all the four walls and floors with the beam from the flashlight. There was a security switch on the wall next to the doors that deactivated the security beams. She flicked the switch, the beams went off, and the whole room was hers and I,AM. The stones had just started to awake and smoke started to cultivate on to the floor covering the room in seconds. Mary, being just like other spectators could not see this either. Suddenly, there was a noise that came from the glass cases, so she walked up to the glass cases to inspect. To her
amazement, the glass was cracking right in front of her eyes. She stepped back, suddenly the glass shattered without noise and hit the floor in silence. The stones began to illuminate the room with a greenish shine. As the stones shined green, Mary could see into the stones and inside the stones there were Angels, a very large throne, and an object that she could not make out. The stones began to elevate above the floor spinning in a circular motion, slow at first and then faster. Mary almost got herself dizzy by looking at this phenomenon.
Suddenly, the stones slammed in to each other creating a field of perfect energy. The voice of I,AM rung out and this is all Mary had to hear. She turned and high tailed it to the doors of the exhibit room, but the doors had a mind of there own. They closed right in front of her and she was trapped. I,AM, vibrated again and Mary was in a state of shock, and couldn't do anything. The entity I,AM begun to falter over to her and
pain started to attack her stomach. Mary's baby began to kick at an abnormal rate. Mary fell to the floor grasping her stomach and the entity was upon her. The cameras in the security room were suddenly able to operate properly. Officer Stewart stood up, grabbed the walkie-talkie. "Officer down, officer down," yelled Officer Stewart ordering the whole museum guard force to the exhibit room on the double. The security cameras were picking up the entity in its discombobulated form. All the officers had arrived at the same time, banging on the door. The swipe card system was not working properly for some reason.
However, the green light was flashing, but entrance was denied. While they were all trying to get in the room the entity, I,AM had transported his force of true evil into the womb of Mary. The whole ordeal was like Mary was going through some kind of shock treatment, her body propelling off the floor at an alarming rate.
Suddenly, just as quickly as it started, it subsided, the entity I,AM was reborn. As Officer Stewart stood outside the door, he gave Paul the card that Detective Zeiss gave him. "Go call the police and then call this guy right now," spoke Officer Stewart. "Yes sir," replied Paul. Now, Detective Zeiss was in his bed tossing and turning having flashes of the war in heaven like he had for many years. "Ring, ring," it was the phone. Michael's wife woke up first nudging Michael, trying to wake him up to get the phone that was on his side of the bed. "What, what," Michael mumbled as he was waking up out of his sleep. "Get the phone Michael, get the phone," asked Sarah. Michael pulled the receiver off the hook bumping the end on the night stand knocking a few pictures' off. "Hello," he spoke in a sluggish tone. "Detective Zeiss," asked Paul. "Yes it is, who is this," replied Michael. "My name is Paul Peterson and I'm a security officer for the museum," stated Paul. A mental light
went off in Michael's head. "I'll be right there," answered Michael. On the other end of the receiver, Paul repeatedly said hello not realizing that Michael had hung up the phone. "What is it sweet heart," asked Sarah? "It's that thing I told you about down there at the museum," explained Michael. "Something has happened," muttered Michael. Michael kissed Sarah on the forehead and told her to go back to bed. Michael pulled himself from under the covers and out of the bed like a bat out of hell. When Michael arrived at the museum, it was surrounded by plain clothes, patrol officers, the S.W.A.T. team, and the news of course.
As Detective Zeiss entered the museum the crowd of law enforcement officers and security were standing by the door. The door to the exhibit room was pulsating in and out in a breathing motion as if it was alive. After a few minutes it stopped and the door that was unable to open from swiping or
banging, opened. The officers took their standard procedure, standing on both sides of the door. Michael being in charge gave the word to proceed, screaming out loud for the other officers to open the door. There in front of them lay Mary in a fetal position on the floor, unconscious. "What's her name,"asked Michael? "Mary," replied Officer Steward. "Mary, Mary are you all right checking her pulse and touching her face," spoke Michael. A slight cough came from the bowels of her stomach, then again with a louder and more forceful cough, then Mary awoke. "Detective Zeiss," yelled one of the officers. "What is it officer," replied Michael? "The stones, look the stones are gone," yelled the officer. Michael stared at the glass case which was back in tact, but the stones were just missing. The paramedics were trying to get Mary situated to be rushed to the hospital. As they began to lift her up, she really felt refreshed and okay. "Put me down please,"
she asked. Detective Zeiss ran over to the lady to see if she were all right. "Mary are you all right," asked Michael. "Yes I feel fine," replied Mary. "They must take you to the hospital to check you out completely," stated Michael. "But I'm fine, I said," replied Mary. "But what about your baby?" asked Michael. "My baby is fine he was kicking very hard earlier but he seems to be okay now," replied Mary. "Mary do you remember what happened in here and where are the stones?" asked Michael. "No, I only remember coming in here to check out the room," replied Mary.
Suddenly, I heard a small noise coming from the glass cases. I remember walking up to the cases and then it shattered right in front of me on to the floor," explained Mary. Michael thought to himself, the glass cases are intact, she must be hallucinating. "Mary I will see you at the hospital later on," stated Michael. "But I told you, I'm all right," yelled Mary. As the paramedics moved out of the room, the forensic team came into dust for fingerprints. Detective Zeiss ran up to the security room where the cameras were to see if they picked up anything. In the security room Michael rewound the exhibit room tape. The video cameras picked up Mary moving closer to the glass case and that was it, there was nothing but a fuzzy tape after that. However, close to the end of the tape it did pick up Mary laying in the middle of the exhibit floor and us entering the room.
Unsuspecting, to Michael his brother, Kumhuma was now aware that I,AM was free and earth as we knew it would never be the same. But it wasn't the right time for his brother to appear to help him. Nevertheless, he would be around to watch his brother's progress. The proper authorities were notified of the incident. The federal government sent a team of scientist and CIA agents to take over the investigation. This was their case and their mistake to allow I,AM to escape.
Meanwhile, as Detective Zeiss visited the hospital the entity I,AM was maturing, inside of the unsuspecting Mary. Feeding off of her spirit and soul eating away her life force. Detective Zeiss arrived at the hospital around midnight. Mary was sitting up in her bed reading with the lights off. As Michael entered her room it seemed from a distance that her eyes were glowing green. Michael flicked the lights on and her eyes seemed to be normal. "Why are you reading in the dark," asked Michael? "What do you mean," replied Mary? "I was not reading in the dark." Michael proceeded to walk up to the side of her bed, gently taking the book from her. Her hands were like ice cubes, frozen to the book. Michael stared at her for a moment and then curiosity made Michael decide to take her pulse and she had one. Michael felt her arms and they were cold as ice. As a matter of fact her whole body was ice cold. "Nurse, nurse," Michael called out. The nurse on call for Mary
came running into the room. "What's the matter Detective," asked Sharon? "She is cold as ice," shouted Michael. Nurse Sharon quickly took Mary's pulse and everything seemed to be okay. "What do you mean her pulse is find with her being so cold," asked Michael? Michael reached down to touch her skin again and it was warm. "What the hell is going on," shouted Michael? Instantly the head doctor came in. "Mary your test came back and everything seems to be fine," stated the doctor. You can go home now. "Thank you, I think I will go now," replied Mary. "I will give you a ride home Ms. Reynolds," offered Michael. "Thank you for your kindness Detective Zeiss," stated Mary. Michael drove Mary home about three that morning and left to go home to his wife. His mind wondered as he drove home that morning. Thinking about everything that had happened earlier that evening. As Michael arrived at home, pulling into the drive way, he glanced down the street. The
same figure from the museum's step was standing at the end of the block. Michael stared, as he walked up the path to his front door. The figure walked away into the darkness, and Michael put the key in the door and walked inside.

CHAPTER FOUR

EVIL MAN WALKING

Meanwhile that night, Mary laid in her bed and after awhile dosed off. Suddenly, she was awakened by movement in her stomach. She rose, pulled the covers from around her, and stared at her stomach. I,AM was making her body change. She screamed out because of her fear and the pain that was engulfing her body. Her eyeballs started to roll into the back of her head like an exorcism and her eye lids closed. A glow outlined her entire body and her stomach pulsated up and down. The screams of her unborn child echoed through her ears. Then, as her eyes were opened by this supernatural force, she ceased to exist, Mary was dead.
The entity rose out of her body like a spirit moving into the after life. It floated out of the bed in a mist, landing on to the soft beige rug that lay perfectly on the floor and began to change into human form. The legs and feet formed, then the torso and arms, and then the head. It was I,AM in the flesh in a

sense. Since, Mary was of Caucasian decent I,AM took form of a white male in his early thirties. Suddenly, I,AM let out a hideous roar of words, I,AM, I,AM, I,AM, and the windows in the whole entire house shattered, while the dead cold body of Mary lay in the bed, face pale from the rebirth. As I,AM walked down the stairs of the house trying to get to the front door, his steps were like sounds of thunder heard from a hilltop. I,AM was now immortal and human but more immortal than human. Ms.Rifkey, the next door neighbor was awakened by the screams of I,AM and called the police. She could actually see the shadow of I,AM walking through the house after the screaming had stopped. This is what made her call. But I,AM was not walking as if he was trying to get away, it was taking its time. The dispatch call went into the nine one-one call center, the address was reported, and the closest cops to the home, mobilized. Detective Zeiss was sleeping soundly when
he was paged nine one one by the dispatcher. Beep, beep, his pager rang out. Michael immediately jumped up grabbed his pager and pushed the button. He hesitated for a moment then grabbed the phone. "Detective Zeiss,"spoke the officer. "What's the problem," asked Zeiss? "Sir, Mary Reynolds,"stated the officer. "What about Miss Reynolds," he asked? "There is a disturbance at her home," replied the officer. "What," replied Michael? Michael slept ready to roll that night because he was so tired. He grabbed his car keys that were on the hook by the garage door, jumped in his car so fast it was almost like he never turned it off when he got home. Mary's home was approximately ten miles from his home. He could make it there in about ten minutes. Michael radioed the precinct that he was in route to the house and told them that he was in charge and not to proceed until he got there to monitor the situation.
Arriving at the home their were several squad cars
already positioned in a tactical set up. Michael pulled up by the curb and jumped out of the car. "You and you come with me," he ordered. Michael arrived at the door and paused for a minute. "Mary, Mary are you all right," he asked. There was no reply so Michael counted with his fingers to three and the officers and him bust into the house. Michael was first to enter, surveying the living room and dining room while the other two officers had his back on his left and right.
Suddenly, they looked up and there was I,AM walking towards the back door. "Freeze, freeze," hollered Michael. I,AM turned around with his eyes glowing green and gave a faint smile turning back and proceeding to the back door. His foot steps not to be considered running or walking left a trail of smokey imprints. It was sort of a galloping walk that could lead into a run. When I,AM grabbed the door knob to open the door, Detective Zeiss and the two officers opened fire.
Now, the reason I,AM open the door was because he was partially human, somewhere around five percent. As they opened fire the bullets went into I,AM, his green blood dripping to the floor. However, as the blood hit the floor it was drown back into his body and the bullets holes closed. This was done just as quickly as the bullets hit him. "Hold your fire," shouted Michael. They stood in astonishment for a minute, I,AM taking his time opening the door wide and jumped out of the doorway about fifty feet onto the hood of Mary's car smashing it into the floor of the car bursting the all four tires. Then, he proceeded to walk over the car until he reached the end demolishing the entire car as if it had been placed in the junk yard. Detective Zeiss ran out of the door behind I,AM and was shocked when he saw the once mid-size Taurus crushed beyond recognition. Detective Zeiss monitored the area looking for the entity, spotting him down the street on the other side
of the block standing there as if he was waiting on Michael. Michael took off running after him and the entity began to run. The chase lead them across the parking lot of an all night convenient store. Detective Zeiss fired a few shots, missing
I,AM, and hitting a light pole and a parked car. I,AM began to pick up the pace as he entered a cemetery. Michael stopped at the entrance to the cemetery to catch his breathe. I,AM slowed to a complete halt waiting for Michael. Michael reloaded and began his pursuit. "Got damn it I said freeze," shouted Michael. Through the grave yard he ran after the entity, covering a half block radius until he got closer to it. I,AM paused for a minute as he stood on the brick walk way which ran right into a line of trees. I,AM started to run and Michael took pursuit. "Stop, I said, stop Chicago Police," yelled Michael. As Michael ran behind him he could see that I,AM was not stopping and his angle would put him right in line with the
trees.
Suddenly, I,AM was approximately five feet from the first tree and not stopping. Michael closed one eye trying to brace himself for the collision. You would think that a person
would run around the trees. But I,AM not being a person ran right through the tree like it wasn't there. Boom! It was like an explosion had occurred. Michael stood in amazement for a moment, then proceeded to chase after I,AM thinking he was just seeing things. Another tree placed itself in the path of the force and again. Boom! I,AM ran right through it. Michael let off some rounds from his nine, emptying the clip but I,AM kept to its mission of escape. I, AM destroyed all the trees that laid in its course and Michael was astonished all evening at what he had witnessed. "Detective, detective," radioed the helicopter that was beaming its lights down on the spectacle. "Are you all right, sir." Michael grabbed the radio from his
side and answered, "yes I am all right." "Did you see which way that thing went," Detective Zeiss being out of breathe asked? "No sir," replied the pilot. But you are not going to believe this sir. "What", asked Michael? From where you are
standing and from our view from up here the graves are spelling out the word I,AM. Michael spent around in a three hundred degree circle placing himself in some what of a dizzy state. The helicopter flew away and, Michael proceeded to the entrance of the cemetery where many squad cars were awaiting. The Captain was the first to approach him. "Michael what happened here," asked the Captain? "It was the suspect that murdered that women," sir. "Its not human sir, its not human," spoke Michael as he walked slowly to his car. "All
right, lock this place down," spoke the Captain. "Michael I want to see you in my office in the morning, so go home and get some rest," spoke the Captain. Michael nodded his head as
he walked to his car and pulled off.
Meanwhile, Michael's brother lay in the shadows gazing upon the destruction I,AM caused, keeping a steady eye out for his brother. "The time will come I,AM when we will encounter
each other," uttered from the lips of Kumhuma. Yellow tape overlay the front entrance to the cemetery and skid marks of several squad cars cascaded the street. The Captain was the last to leave the scene, but not by himself he would have an unwanted companion.
As the Captains wheels sped out, there was a strange occurrence in the streets. There was paper that whispered across the intersections in slow motion, the leaves blew profuse making violin sounds, and a black spiritualistic cat that eyes glowed green wondered the sidewalk in search of nourishment. Its claws scraping the ground making a profound heart wrenching noise defacing the smooth ground with its
immersed claws and the sound of the cemeteries disturbed souls filled the nights air. Kumhuma in the shadows stood, barefoot with a brownish overcoat, with its collar up to obstruct any view of his face proceeded to walk across the street walking past a street light post. The glow from the
light post intimidated the darkness over a bus stop sign next to Kumhuma, then as the street light fluttered off and on, Kumhuma suddenly vanished.
The next morning Detective Zeiss arrived at the Captain's door and knocked. The Captain waved him in, "Sit down Detective, there is one woman dead and a cemetery torn to bits," spoke the Captain. Michael started to talk, but the Captain waved him off. "In your report you stated, that it was a male white man about six-foot in height, weighing approximately two hundred to two hundred and twenty pounds," asked the Captain. "You also state, that he had silver hair down
his back and had green eyes," stated the Captain. "Do you mean green contacts," asked the Captain? "No," replied Detective Zeiss. "I mean green glowing eyes," answered Detective Zeiss. The Captain in a solemn voice said, "humh."
"Now the incident in the cemetery, you stated in your
report, that this man ran through trees and bullets could not stop him," asked the Captain. "That is correct sir," replied Michael. "I think you have been working to hard Michael," spoke the Captain. Michael realizing what the Captains next words were going to be. "This is my case sir, don't take me off of it," shouted Michael. Pausing for a minute the Captain said, "in your report you also stated that it was not of this earth." "What did you mean by that," asked the Captain? "Sir, I meant for a man to take that much fire power like he did in the house and in the cemetery, as well as the destruction to the cemetery, he could not be from this earth," answered Michael.
"He dressed like a man, he had the facial features of a man, but not the soul of a man," spoke Michael. At that moment an officer knocked on the door. "There is a man fitting the description of Detective Zeiss's suspect seen going into the Water tower downtown," spoke the officer. Detective Zeiss
jumped up, looked at the Captain for the go ahead. The Captain nodded his head and Michael was out the door and down the stairs to his car unknowing to him that it was blocked by a garbage truck. When Michael left, the Captain asked Dr. Ann Wells to come in to his office, he was worried about Michael. Dr. Wells walked in to the office. "Captain you wanted to see me, asked the doctor." "Yes, I want you to conduct a psychiatric evaluation on Detective Zeiss. " What do you think, your top Detective is crazy, asked the doctor?" "Well doctor, either he's crazy or what he is saying about this suspect is true," answered the Captain. "But is he crazy Captain," asked
the doctor? "No, he is not," replied the Captain. Shouting, with a look of despair on his face. "I would still like to meet with him tomorrow at eleven in my office," asked the doctor. "Sure, sure," answered the Captain. After the Captain's conversation with the doctor, he prepared to visit the scene also.
Now, down in the alley Michael, upset about the truck blocking him, pounded on the steering wheel and hollered out of the window. Move this truck! As seconds ticked away, the truck moved, and Detective Zeiss was in route, radioing to all cars in route not to apprehend him until he got there. The S.W.A.T team and other officers were gong-ho and wanted to apprehend him. Blatantly dishonoring Detective Zeiss's orders who was in charge. Detective Zeiss made it to the Water Tower and the S.W.A.T team had already went in to the building. "Who gave the order to go in," shouted Detective Zeiss?
Suddenly, the entire S.W.A.T team was thrown through
the glass windows out on to the sidewalk. "Get these men out of here," shouted Michael. Michael, grabbed both of his nine millimeters and ran into the building. The security force was down and customers were hiding any where they could. "Stay down, stay down," ordered Detective Zeiss to the customers
and employees. While Michael surveyed the area, I,AM made its way to the top of the roof, leaving dead bodies and terrified people behind him. Bones, flesh, and bodies covered the floors of this up scale shopping spot. Zeiss was right behind I,AM taking the elevator to the roof. Making it to the roof, Michael took a deep breath, and by that time Michigan Ave. In its entirety was cascaded with squad cars, including the Captain's car. As Michael kicked the door open that led outside on to the roof. I,AM was squatting down on the edge , staring out into space. "Freeze," shouted Michael! I,AM raised, with eyes glowing turning to the Detective. Michael began to fire
shots while running towards the entity. I,AM fell over the edge and Michael thought that was the end of it. Slowly moving towards the edge and peeping over, there to his surprise was I,AM hovering in the air. I,AM spoke and said, "you will not die yet." Zeiss took one more shot dead center and instantly I,AM
disappeared leaving only its black jump suit and boots behind. Michael watched as I,AM's clothes floated one hundred floors down to the ground in front of the entire police force. The wind was not blowing very hard that day, because if it had the cloths probably would have landed in Lake Michigan. During the time it took the floating clothes to hit the ground. The Captain had made his way in to building and up to the roof. As the clothes and boots lay their in front of the entire police department their guns were drown and ready to fire. Suddenly, I,AM began to resurrect, right in front of everyone. An officer in charge while the Captain and Detective
Zeiss were in the building radioed and said, that the suspect is alive, open fire. The officers were paralyzed for a moment and then the shots rang out. Detective Zeiss, the Captain, and other officers raced down to the front entrance of the building, but they were to late. I,AM had waved his hand and all of the
bullets fired at him were reflected back at them with pure accuracy. In the few minutes it took Zeiss, the Captain, and other officers to get down to join there fellow officers. One hundred police officers wives were widowed and I,AM was gone. The scene was horrible. Bodies were everywhere and all Michael could do was bow his head in despair. "Do you believe me now Captain," asked Michael. The Captain being a realistic person stated, "I do not know Michael." "Well, Captain you need to start believing," replied Michael. Michael left and went home to his wife, emotionally and physically drained from the incident of that day. The Captain was the last one to
pull off from the scene again, making sure all the t's were crossed and the i's were dotted.
Now, the Captain was a very observing man due to the society in which he lived. But this would not be enough to altar the rest of the ten minutes of life he had. Actually, even
if he had seen I,AM coming, his failure to live could still be justified. Due to the fact that his faith in God could not righteously relate to a fragment of tree bark. While the Captain traveled down South street, coming to the intersection of Maple ave and South Street.
Suddenly, a greenish oval shaped ball gyrated out into the street. The sidewalks were empty and all the Captain could see is the glimmer from department stores neon lights fixated in their windows. Strangely enough the ball rolled right in front of the Captain's squad car and stopped. It rested on the edge of a deep indentation in the street that slanted downward
to a raised sewer lid next to the curb. The Captain stared at the object for about forty seconds and then reached for the door handle. The driver side door made a slight squeaking sound as he opened it, putting his left leg out the door first. With several slight pull-ups on the rolled down window, he
boosted himself up to a standing position. His eagle eyes sur
veyed the area for a possible answer to this strange situation. The keys were in the ignition and the car was running as he made his way to the front of the car, again checking the surrounding area as he bent over to retrieve the greenish ball. As he reached out with his right hand, a couple of inches from almost touching the ball it suddenly disappeared. This startled the Captain making him fall back lading on his posterior, still staring at the spot the ball used to be in. His attention focused away from the ball and directed it on his squad car, he could see a figure sitting in the drivers seat. As
he tried to stand his feet and hands were somehow affixed to the ground making him fall back, again hitting his head on the cold hard pavement. I,AM pressed down on the accelerator, compelling it to its highest limit of 180 miles per hours while still in park. The Captain slowly regained his equilibrium.
"What is it you want," asked the Captain. "What do you want I said," screamed the Captain." Within seconds of the silent question and answer period between I,AM and the Captain, the Captain's hands became unhampered. Quickly reaching for his Glock semi-automatic that was snapped in his shoulder holster. "Fuck you, fuck you" screamed the Captain as he let off nine rounds from his nine millimeter which began I,AM's racing career if he wanted one.
"Click, Click, Click" was the sound of the gears shifting from park, to reverse, to neutral, and finally to drive. I,AM struck the Captain with so much force that as the front bumper
struck the Captain's head, it detached from the Captains body and rolled into the left lane of South street. Obviously, other hit and run drivers would run over the person once and drive away. However, I,AM placed the car in reverse and struck the Captain again, going on for about ten minutes, back and forth.
Meanwhile, a couple who were driving pass, going North on South street in their car. Noticed the Captain's car but did not see the body under the car due to the fact that the pressure of the car had smashed the Captain into the ground. As the couple got to the side of the Captain's vehicle they could see I, AM in the car with his eyes glowing green. Even though, they were frightened the couple were the ones who notified the police from there cell phone when they passed the gas station three blocks from the scene. Maybe they would not have waited to notify the authorities if they had seen the Captain's head laying next to the curve in front of Jill's flower shop.
They explained that it was strange to see a car going forward and backward at that time of night or at any other time for that matter. "Plus the man in the car had green eyes," stated the couple. This was the statement given over the phone to the authorities. Back into park the Captain's squad car went. I,AM was finished, showing no mercy towards the Captain. The door opened and I,AM exited the vehicle, leaving the door open, sauntering into the night.

CHAPTER FIVE

PRESENCE UPON ME

The next morning, Detective Zeiss awoke and walked down stairs to the beauty of his wife's face. She was preparing breakfast, while watching the morning news on their nineteen inch Panasonic color television, positioned over in the corner by the refrigerator. "Morning baby" spoke Michael, giving her a strong hug. "Good morning to you baby," replied Sarah. Michael sat in his favorite breakfast chair and grabbed the morning newspaper that's delivered to his house every morning around six- thirty. Michael began to remove the rubber band that surrounded the paper and started to unravel it.
Suddenly, a special news report broke through on a commercial break on the television. The Captains face was plastered all across the t.v. screen. Michael, stunned for a moment , moved closer to the t.v., turning the volume up to its highest level. His wife, Sarah stood in amazement behind him, and to his right. Diana Summers, the morning news reporter had the story. "I am standing in front of the scene of a brutal murder, by someone with devilish, inhuman, brain patterns,
here to the left of me," she spoke. As she pointed to the coroners careful removal of the remains of the Captain.
Suddenly, out of nowhere a voice came, "There's no head,
where's the head" shouted a young coroner on the scene? Well, as you, the viewers have heard, the Captain has been decapitated, reported Ms. Summers looking terry eyed in the camera. " "I found it, bellowed from across the street a young police officer new to the force who was shacking out of control with fear." Diana's television team quickly started out for the close up. The on- lookers screamed as they got a small glimpse at the decapitated head. Detectives, police, and coroners hastened over to help the young officers as the crowd began to converge on the head. "Everybody stand back", "everybody stand back", ordered all the officers. As the officers tried to do there job, Diana turned back to the camera, and announced that this was the worst murder scene she has
ever reported on. "This is Diana Summers from South and Maple where this tragic murder has occurred." "I have to get to work, why didn't anyone call me," yelled Michael.
Suddenly, at that instant in his thoughts, the phone rung. "Hello, hello", spoke Michael in a very rude and emotional voice. From the other end of the receiver came the words, I, AM. Michael pulled the phone from his ear and looked upon his wife with fear in his eyes. "What's wrong baby," she asked? Its I,AM the entity. As Michael held the phone out from his body, Sarah grabbed the receiver. "Hello, Hello", she spoke. "When dialing a number out of your area code , please dial six, five, and two first, hang up and try again," spoke the automated telephone system. Sarah looked at the phone and spoke. "Baby, why would the operator say we have to dial six-fifty two area code when we did not dial a number. "Lock the doors baby, I have to get to the station", demanded Michael.
Michael rushed out of the front door of his home and jumped into his car, burning rubber out of the driveway. As Michael looked out of his rear view mirror, and saw I,AM in the street, at least that was what Michael thought he saw. Michael jumped out of the car, his gun pulled and I,AM was gone. The next door neighbor and the neighbors across the street looked, as Michael a very calm person lost it. Michael got back into his car and drove off, well aware that it was I,AM who done this to the Captain. Michael crossed the intersection of Chicago at Wells, and the traffic had stopped completely. Half of his car was still protruding into the intersection and to his left there was a homeless streetwise newspaper sales person sitting on a fire hydrant. A few steps to the side of the salesperson there was a woman and her three kids standing on the bus stop. Directly to his right there was a card game, like the one's you see in New York with a crowd of people standing around it. As
the traffic began to move, Michael decided to turn on the sirens to make them move faster, making them part like the red sea. Soon after, Michael was almost to the precinct, so he decided to turn off the sirens due to respecting other motorist because he was not actually racing to a call. As Michael
paused for a moment waiting for the light to turn green, a car pulled up beside him to his right. Frantic to get to the station he did not notice the car when it pulled along side of him. Michael reached for a cigarette that was locked in the glove compartment, hearing the voice of the human formed entity saying I,AM as his head was down. Looking up slowly, to his amazement there in the other drivers seat of that car was him, the image or figure in that car looked like Michael. Michael jumped because of the unbelievable thing he had just saw. The figure turned slowly and looked at Michael, Michael immediately pulled his gun and pointed it at the figure.
Suddenly, the Michael look alike vanished and in his place was an elderly man around seventy two years old wearing bifocals. The old man looked over at Michael screaming louder than any elderly person in existence. Michael lowered his weapon, dropped it on the passenger seat next to him, and grabbed his forehead with both hands. Cars were blowing there horns at Michael and a man in a car in back of him yelled, move it. Michael finally snapped out of this dramatic, horrifying, and psychopathic state of mind he was in.
Continuing to the station, Michael looked in every direction, trying to spot I,AM, but there was nothing. He pulled up in front of the station around 7:30 that morning. As he put his car in park, he became sluggish, and finally dosing off in the car laying his head on the steering wheel. Michael dove deeper into a dream state, seeing visions of his brother, Kumhuma viewing the journey his brother took and also the cave in which Kumhuma found the Golden Stroll, the Lance of Transgression, and the Untouchable Water. "Mike, Mike," one of the other Detective said as he tried to wake Michael up. "What, what," replied Michael looking around in a state of confusion. Once Michael regained his composure, he stepped out of the car. "Are you all right Mike," asked the other detective. "Yeah, yeah I'll be find," replied Michael. "You sure," asked the detective? "I'm sure," answered Michael. Michael climbed the six steps to the front doors of the precinct and looked back. As the Detective who woke Michael up crossed the street, entering the alley, the detective turned from a Detective in plain clothes to the felon I,AM. Michael shut his eyes for a moment trying to get his vision corrected thinking it was the sun shining in his eyes that made him hallucinate. However, as he opened his eyes I,AM was gone.
Michael proceeded to the second floor where the
Detective's worked. Michael reached the front desk, and Dr. Ann Wells met him with a piece of paper swaying in her hand. "This is for you sir," spoke Wells. Michael reached for it and took the paper from her hand. "Detective this paper states that you have to come in today for a psychiatric evaluation at eleven a.m., your Captain knew about this meeting," stated Ms. Wells. "The Captains dead, and you are giving me a piece of paper," shouted Michael. "I told the Captain what this thing was, but he did not want to listen," stated Michael. "Why didn't he listen doctor," asked Michael? Dr. Wells looked at Michael as if he had the plague. "I'm sorry about the Captain, I know how much he meant to you," spoke Wells. "Nevertheless, Michael we have to be concerned about you," stated Wells. "Am I suspended," asked Michael? "No, no, no Michael I just want to make sure you are all right," replied the doctor. The entire Detective department had stopped doing what they were doing
to listen to the conversation. After the opened eared meeting with the doctor in the mist of the entire police force ended, Michael walked into the Captain's office, slammed the door, and stayed in the office for about three hours. Finally, he opened the door and yelled do we have any leads on the death of the Captain. Michael was Chief Detective and everyone usually moved when he asked for something. But this time everyone stared at the television monitor they had in the station. There was a report of a man that fit I,AM's description at the bucking ham fountain causing a disturbance of some sort. Michael took off for the stairs not thinking that he had a eleven a.m. meeting with Dr. Wells.

CHAPTER SIX

WATER OF BLOOD

All around the fountain there was chaos, people were running trying to escape the malice of I,AM. When Detective Zeiss arrived on the scene I,AM was standing on top of the fountain and the witnesses told Michael that I,AM just leaped up there. There was panic everywhere, people screaming and the other officers were shaking in their boots at the sight and power of I,AM. The sky commenced to adapt into darkness and greenish clouds formed over I,AM as if it was taken from the bible, when Jesus Christ was on the cross and the Romans stood around gazing. "Get down, get down," screamed Detective Zeiss. But I,AM did not move. "Should we fire sir," asked the head of the S.W.A.T Team on the scene. "No, do not fire yet there are still children and adults here," replied Michael. "Lieutenant, Get all of these people back from around the fountain," ordered Michael. "Yes sir," the lieutenant replied. It was a stand off as the police circled the entire
fountain and I,AM stood motionless on top of the fountain with the still running as usual. "Sir, the people are all moved away," stated the lieutenant. "You have one more chance to come down and give yourself up before we open fire," shouted the Detective. "On my order," shouted Michael.
Suddenly, before Michael could give the order to fire. The clouds changed to red and it began to thunder so loud that all of the officers including Michael had to grasp their ears. As the thunder went away for a brief second. Lightening came down and struck I,AM, his arms went up to the sky, his eyes glowed green, and the water that flowed from the fountain was know longer ocean blue but ruby red like blood. The bottom of the fountain began to run over the edge with blood and the cops began to step back, but Michael held his ground. I,AM lowered his arms and out of his eyes came lightening striking ten officers burning them beyond recognition and in retaliation
Michael and the other cops opened fire.
Suddenly, I,AM plunged to the ground landing on his feet with bullets still striking him but with no effect. I,AM paused for a minute and out of his mouth came the words I,AM. As Michael looked on, the entities body became like a video screen, he could see the images of some kind of battle with winged people and lots of blood. As I,AM ran off towards Lake Michigan, he gave off a loud heart wrenching scream that knocked all who stood around down to their knees, Michael included. When Michael got up along with the other officers, they began the foot chase after I,AM, firing so many shots at I,AM you would have thought it was a war going on downtown.
Traffic was moving in both directions on Lake Shore drive. I,AM reached Lake Shore drive, leaping over the North and South lanes, landing on the east side of Lake Shore looking upon Lake Michigan. Michael and the other police maneuvered
through the traffic. Cars were hitting there brakes, ramming into the back of other cars, trying not to hit the police. The other officers and Michael finally reached the other side of the drive. I,AM had ran to the end of the docking platform for the boats with nowhere to go but in the water. Michael shouted, "no where to go, so turn around with your hands up." I,AM slowly turned around and in an instance his entire body glowed green blinding Michael and the other officers for a moment. When Michael and the others regained their vision, shots rang out. I,AM spoke again and said, "the game will be over soon and you will die and I will destroy what God has made". As I,AM waved off the bullets before they got to him. He spoke and said "God nor your brother can help you or this world". Michael thought to himself; my brother, he's been dead for years. "What does he have to do with this, asked Michael?" I,AM turned and jumped into the lake. Michael ran after him to
the edge of the dock followed by the other officers. To their amazement, I,AM was walking on top of the water, with its back to them. Michael opened fire but it had no effect in stopping the entity. Suddenly, the entity, I,AM disappeared into the lake. The other officers were so frightened that their skin and hair turned as white as snow.
Back at the fountain all of the smoke had cleared and the bodies of the fallen officers where being removed. Michael sat on the edge of the fountain still saturated with blood, thinking
about what I,AM had said on the dock. The news camera wanted to interview Michael, but he waved them away. However, Michael thought about it and stopped the last news reporter before he left. "You want a statement," asked Michael. "Yes Detective," replied Stewart Dyer from Channel Two News. Michael paused for a minute, looking away from the camera. Then he turned to the reporter and said, "We had the suspect
that killed one pregnant women, the Captain, innocent civilians, and many others right here. But it got away." "Detective you said it, like its not human or its a thing," replied the reporter. "Its not human, it is pure evil and the world as we know it will change forever unless we stop it," replied Michael. "Detective Zeiss is it true that you are up for a psychiatric evaluation," asked the reporter. "I'm not crazy, there were other officers here and witnesses to this dilemma. So if you think I'm crazy so be it," stated Michael. "Still there is an entity not from this world that has power's unknown and unseen to man," answered Michael. "Is there a name for this entity Detective Zeiss," asked Dyer. "Yes, its name is I,AM," replied Michael. "Know more questions, this interview is over," stated Michael. As Michael walked to his car he detected a presence of some kind around him, so he looked and to his left he saw the same image he saw at the museum. However,
as he got closer to it, it vanished.

CHAPTER SEVEN

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

Meanwhile, as Michael took the long drive home to his lovely wife and settled end to bed after a long and extensive talk with his wife. On the West side of Chicago in a motel that was on the corner of Madison and Argyle. Kumhuma settled in a corner on top of an Egyptian rug with his legs crossed. His arms were fixated on his chest like an x, all the lights in the room were out, and there were six candles burning golden flames. These candles surrounded him and one candle at twelve o'clock did not flicker as the other candles, it was not lit. Kumhuma was in his meditation mode summoning the spirit of the angels, preparing himself for the war.
As Kumhuma finished his meditation, tears began to emanate from his face while his eyes were closed. Suddenly, the candle that was not lit, was ignited by the Grace of God and put out by the breathe of his angel that sat behind him. He arose dousing the other six candle with his finger and walked over to his memoir. The memoir was made from camels skin
and bound with wool from sheeps that were herded up in the highest mountains of Africa. The paper sheets were fabricated of cloth given to him from an ancient Buddha priest. The outside of the pen in which he wrote his thoughts down looked like a piece of bark, the ink had no substance, and its color was gold like a shiny golden nugget found by gold miners. Kumhuma kneeled down on the floor and lit a larger candle that lay next to his bed that he never slept on, so the bed was literally untouched.
Then Kumhuma peered at the candle for a moment and began to write:
Things that happen in life are always upheld by the actions of self motivation, focusing on the evil presence around you being able to deny this evil and focus on good to guide you to your future.
Be the appetite for being all powerful or the hunger of becoming a holy man in the world of
unholiness. But a spiritual man ,why, I ask.
In your own self-perservation or the knowing of an endless life. You rationalize the pro's and con's of yourself worth.
Is it meaningless or even at first, thought asinine. Evil, the root of all that is untruthful among humans and angels. I for one, am humble to God, despite a few ill thoughts that jingle in my mind in times of not knowing or faithlessness. But for love there is only God. I am his servant amongst the wolves. So many battles I have fought but this one is the war of wars. Who will prevail?
When the skies brake down at night to a grayish glow. Where will my sun be? Hidden beneath the rise and fall of the glory of God. Winds out of the east, breezy but sweet. Where will my soul lay? Shall it
be that I become a non-exiting being on the planet we call earth. Will I lose this war with I AM. Only God knows.
Shall I, become like a star reaching for the soul of space, trying to reckon with reality of one day falling to earth. Does the angels sing for me or is it an echo of faint goodbyes of a life so lost. Walls painted with letters of words, unknown to me, but vivid to the proprietor of the art.
Hale to the rain, when will it come to wash my sins away. Do I repent, but what have I done in my life to deserve this battle.

I,Am (5)

Cry, oh tears on a perished brow. I show my respect as I walk through the gates wearing my fetish, as dreams gazing upon the prophets of old who had battled Satan's evil. But my battle is not with Satan but with the unknown evil, I AM. Pass on, pass on, your uncertain soul. Let not , the world keep you somber in this moment of humbleness. Knees to the floor, head down, tighter squeeze, tighten my hands. Maybe it will all get better. Moan, moan souls of this world, because this is the time of reckoning. No warning, no blink of an eye. I fear the future and I am fearless with faith. How contradicting? Pimp on my faithless brothers and sisters, where do you slumber, with the ignorance of the sinful people. Why must I be the one who's life has been deserving of this honor.
Past me not o'gentle storm, cast not a rainbow on my head. As for I may get wet with servitude. Thinking this world and this life is without misery. Hide my doubtful dreams in a box in my mind, before they succeed to travel to the depths of my spirit enabling me to fulfill my destiny. Hide the key away
from thine sight, my guardian angels, for it may be crucial to my own self survival. I will say when the time comes, when I succeed and I shall. Oh, how innocent people were to the everlasting fear that I defeated.
Maybe I will ask myself then, did I fear I AM. But I would probably lie to myself anyway by saying no. Time is my enemy, fear of growing weak in faith if I take to long in confronting I AM. So much to do, I must prepare, the inevitable is close at hand. My destiny is to Stop...destroy the enemy, I, AM.

CHAPTER EIGHT

WHO AND WHY

The next morning, Michael awoke to the same routine. Sarah was down stairs cooking breakfast and Michael made his way to the shower, starting his way down the stairs twenty minutes afterwards. He was well aware of what he was going to find in the morning newspaper, as he unrolled it. "Death is always front page news," spoke Michael. "Listen to this baby," asked Michael.
"Chicago is faced with a dilemma of unholy proportions. It seems like the end of the world is close at hand. This entity I,AM is not from this earth and it is not human, Detective Zeiss of the Chicago Police Department quoted yesterday to channel two news reporter Stewart Dyer. Now, there has been rumors that Detective Zeiss is under psychiatric evaluation. But is he crazy, some other cops and citizens say no. These are the ones who were there
yesterday evening at the brutal massacre of outstanding police officers. They think this is a joke," stated Michael. Michael walked over to the garbage can and disposed of the paper. Michael and Sarah sat at the kitchen table drinking coffee, not talking or even looking at each other. Michael was focusing his attention on the backyard, seen through the sliding doors that lead to the yard. Sarah stared at Michael as he stared at the backyard. Suddenly, the phone rang, Michael looked at Sarah, slowly placing his cup on the table. Sarah stood up using a hand signal telling Mike that she would get it.
"Hello, this is the Zeiss residence." "Hi, Mrs. Zeiss, this is Doctor Wells from the police department," stated Wells. I would like to speak to your husband if I may. "Just a minute," replied Sarah. Sarah placed her hand over the receiver and whispered to Michael. "Baby its Ms.Wells," spoke Sarah. "Damn, I forgot I had a meeting with her yesterday at eleven," replied Michael. "Give me the phone," asked Michael. "Ms. Wells, how are you," asked Michael? "Ms. Wells I know I had an appointment with you yesterday, but something came up that pertained to the murders by I,AM," explained Michael. "Detective, detective please," spoke Ms. Wells. Interrupting Michael in the middle of his sentence. "I believe you Mr.Zeiss," explained Ms. Wells. "What," replied Michael! "I need to see you in my office at nine o'clock this morning, I have someone you should meet," answered Ms.Wells. Someone that maybe able to help you figure out who I,AM is and why is it here," explained Ms. Wells. "Nine o'clock doctor I'll be there," replied Michael.
It was eight fifty-five when Detective Zeiss walked through Doctor Wells's office. "Come in Michael and have a seat," asked Dr. Wells. In the far corner with his back turned observing the pictures on the Doctor's wall was Dr. Howard
Thomas Spaulding III. At first glance at him you would not figure him to be this man that so many people talked about around the world. His sports jacket was made of wool, with elbow patches a different color from his coat, wearing a vest with buttons the size of quarters, and his hair was in desperate need of a cut. His glasses looked like the telescopes used to see out into the universe. His shirt was plain white, his slacks were one pleated, and his shoes looked as if there were given to him by an old, old friend.
When he introduced himself, his accent seemed to be of African and European decent. "Hello Detective, my name is Dr. Howard Thomas Spaulding the third," stated Spaulding. "You seem astounded Detective," stated the Doctor. "Astounded about what," answered Michael. "To see a black man standing here in front of you," spoke the Spaulding. "No sir, I really don't care what color you are, so as long as you can answer
some questions," replied Michael. "Okay gentlemen, lets get down to business," asked Wells. "Doctor Spaulding can you start," asked Ms. Wells. "Detective, first of all what you are up against is not human or inhuman," explained Dr. Spaulding. "This I know," replied Michael. "You see my search team found the Golden Scroll some years ago. In this scroll it recounts that in heaven there was a immense battle between good and evil," explained Spaulding. "Something like the Bible discusses, but after the battle in heaven between Satan and God, there was another battle," continued Spaulding. "The ancient words states that Satan was the one that wanted to over throw God. But it was actually, this entity known to you as I,AM," continued Spaulding. "Even God, as the scroll states did not know of I,AM until after the battle with Satan. This is when Satan was calling out for I,AM to help him," explained Spaulding. "The scroll states that I,AM was very powerful, almost as powerful as God. But the form of I,AM was not like the angels," stated Spaulding. "It was just there, like a glob of light and smoke," spoke Spaulding.
"Now, the scroll mentions that the battle went on for awhile but God destroyed I,AM breaking it into three separate pieces. Casting it out into three different parts of the world. From the scroll directions we finally found the three stones of I,AM," explained Spaulding. "However, we did not find the Lance of Transgression or the cave in which they were stored," stated Spaulding. "So how did you find the scroll," asked Michael. "I understand that the Golden Scroll was with the Lance of Transgression," argued Michael. "This Michael, I can not tell," replied Spaulding. "It is also said in the scroll that the Lance of Transgression and this untouchable water we also couldn't find is the only thing that can destroy I,AM," explained
Spaulding. "So what does that have to do with me," replied Michael? "Michael have you seen your brother, Kumhuma," asked the Spaulding. "My brother," replied Michael. "I haven't seen my brother in years, it is believed that he is dead," answered Michael. "What does my brother have to do with this," stated Michael? "Well, Michael it is said by monks in Egypt that a spiritual man found the cave and carried the Golden Scroll, the Lance of Transgression, and the untouchable water out of the cave back to his temple," answered Spaulding. "This is were we lost track of his quest," explained
Spaulding. "Your brother, Kumhuma is the only one that can help us defeat I,AM. Know one actually knows what the Lance of Transgression or the untouchable water looks like but your brother," stated Spaulding. "So what you are saying is, if you had the Lance of Transgression you could defeat I,AM," asked Michael? "No, it will take a holy man with the power from God
to smite the entity I,AM," replied Spaulding. "Doctor, I,AM is in human form now," stated Michael. "That does not matter it is still I,AM," answered Spaulding. "This is the greatest scientific discovery of all times," stated Spaulding. "Doctor, do you want to destroy I,AM or do you want to put it back in the museum," asked Michael. "Its a little to late Michael, I,AM has been reborn and to stop it we need aid from God," answered Spaulding. "Okay gentlemen, I guess that concludes this discussion," spoke Dr. Wells.
Doctor Spaulding grabbed his hat and proceeded to the door. Spaulding turned to Michael and said, "Michael there is a reason why I,AM is after you." "Your brother is the only one standing in his way of destroying the world as we know it," state Spaulding. "He's trying to bring your brother out in the open, if he is still alive," explained Spaulding. "But rest a sure Detective, he will not play with you or the world much longer,"
spoke Spaulding. The Doctor exited the room and Michael followed right behind him going directly to his office, shutting the door. Since Dr. Wells gave the police committee the okay on Michael, he was the new acting Captain of the Detectives.
Meanwhile, as night fell over the scared city, I,AM made his way to a church on Central Park and Elm. I,AM could not step foot in a Church of God. Nonetheless, he could rest on the borders of it. I,AM crossed the street in front of the church, walking up to the front side of the building .
Instantaneously, I,AM transformed into a green haze, propelling himself into the brick wall. When the mist cleared I,AM appeared in the shape of an upside down cross. The next morning Michael awoke from spending the night in the office, writing notes about I,AM. He called his wife from the office to let her know he was great. "Michael are you all right," asked Sarah. "Yes, baby I'll be fine," replied Michael. "You get some
rest baby, I will see you when I get home this evening," spoke Michael. "See you soon," replied Sarah.

CHAPTER NINE

CHAOS RESURFACES

I,Am (6)
Deon C Sanders Deno Sandz

The morning was glorious and the unsuspecting visitors to the Lincoln Park Zoo would never forget it. At the station, Michael hung up the phone and placed his face in his hands, undoubtedly depressed about the I,AM situation.
Suddenly, a pounding sound came from the glass windows that looked out on to the outer office. "Detective, Detective, I,AM has been spotted at the Lincoln Park Zoo," yelled another officer. "No, there are innocent people out there," shouted Michael. Michael ran out of the door, pausing for a minute to give a short speech to the officers. "I know what we are dealing with is not from this earth and we can get killed. But if we don't stop this thing, your families, and your children will all fall to this evil," spoke Michael. The other detectives looked at each other and simultaneously said, "what the hell, we are with you Mike." This speech was just for his detectives, other law enforcement personnel were all ready on
there way to the scene.
Meanwhile, I,AM had entered the zoo on the west side, where there was parking and fishing. At this particular entrance, there were concession stands, novelty shops, and picture booths. On the outlining area of this oval gathering were the lion cages, elephants exhibit, and the gorilla exhibit. There were people everywhere, mother's with their children, father's with their sons, and brothers with their sister. It was a fun filled day for these unsuspecting Chicagoans. As I,AM ventured forth into the zoo, not only did the lions, elephants, and gorillas start exhibiting uncontrollable behavior, but the entire animal kingdom in the zoo followed suit. The people looked around because of this behavior from the animals and because of the rising noise levels. Finally, a man in the crowd of unstable people said, "Look, what is that?" It was I,AM standing in the middle of everyone and they began to panic. Mother's grabbed their children, father's grabbed their sons, and brothers grabbed their sisters. The place was going ballistic, while I,AM stood motionless, his eyes glowing green, and he had a smirk of destruction on his face.
Suddenly, out of his mouth came the words, I,AM like a big explosion shattering glass everywhere. The sound was so eminence that even the eyeglasses of most of the people had shattered also, creating fallen civilians with glass in their eyes laying on the ground all around the zoo. The crowd began to vanish with good Samaritans helping with the wounded. The Chicago police arrived with aerial units hovering above in helicopters. "Seal off all exits," shouted Detective Zeiss. "S.W.A.T, you take your men, two unit teams in, one on the left and one on the right. Everyone else stay on your toes, and if you get an open shot, take it," ordered Michael. "We will not be taking this one end alive," spoke Michael. S.W.A.T. went in first, then Michael and his detectives, followed by the other officers. The helicopter unit had a bead on I,AM. "Detective Zeiss, the suspect is standing in the middle with no movement at all," radioed the helicopter. The S.W.A.T. team confirmed the aerial units last transmission and this would be the last transmission that would come from them.
Suddenly, I,AM raised his head toward the helicopters, stared for a moment and shots rang out from the helicopter. "Who's firing, who's firing," asked Michael. "It came from the helicopter," the S.W.A.T team commander answered. Michael grabbed his radio and yelled, "helicopter unit please respond." "Something is wrong, something is wrong, we are killing ourselves, I repeat we are shooting each other," shouted the pilot. The gun fire and the excruciating pain emanating from the pilot's radio transmission could be heard through all of the radios. The helicopter fell out of control and went down over the lion cages along with the crew. When the helicopter hit the lion's cage I,AM spoke out and said, "you will not defeat me, I am I,AM." Michael through down the radio and ordered with a loud voice every one go end and take this thing out. I,AM felt it would not be defeated as he stood in the same place and never moved. The police surrounded I,AM in a half moon as he stood there. I,AM never turned his head or even gave any gestures of any kind. Michael stood in front of the entity and shouted, "Fire".
The assault began, bullets hitting I,AM from all directions
and a green discharge of blood descended from his body. After about five minutes of firing, I,AM fell to his knees with both hands in front of him. However, the officers could not see this due to the smoke, but once the smoke cleared they could see I,AM on his knees. The officers were amazed, but still kept their guns aimed at this entity.
Suddenly, I,AM raised his head and the ground in front of them began to discharge green slim which slithered straight toward the officers. Michael, filled with fear proceeded to step back, but the discharge acted like it had feet, moving with great speed towards the officers as they stepped back. While the police stood in a circle, I,AM's discharge had trapped them in. The heat that emanated from the discharge touched the officers and melted them as if it was lava. It was a massacre at the zoo, the police were melting left and right.
Finally, the discharge was upon Michael and he thought it was his time to go also. But as the discharge got two inches from his feet , his chest began to get warm and he could almost see a bluish glow coming from his shirt. As the discharge got to Michael's feet it went around him, leaving him untouched. Michael took a deep breathe trying to regain his composure, seeing the guns, the flack jackets, and the badges of his men laying across the ground. I,AM stood unharmed in front of Michael with multiple bullet holes in him.
Suddenly, I,AM raised his hand and the discharge withdrew slithering back into his body through the open holes. These bullet holes that severely damaged I,AM's body had closed, leaving no kind of inclination that he was even fired upon. As they both stood face to face, Michael could not retreat and could not understand why he had survived this ordeal. I,AM stared at Michael for a moment and shouted out, "you have the Lance of Transgression but that will not be enough to stop me. I get stronger as the days get longer." Michael thought to himself the Lance of Transgression. As Michael thought, with his head down I,AM turned, walking away just as quietly as he came. When Michael looked up I,AM was gone and more cops and the news people were on there way into the zoo. Glancing down at his shirt, Michael with great force ripped his shirt open and there it was the amulet glowing. "The Lance of Transgression," mumbled Michael. "Detective, what happened here," asked a news reporter? This time Michael walked off the grounds of the zoo without a word to the reporters.
As he exited the zoo two men with suits from the Bewitched episodes confronted him. "Detective Zeiss, we are from the Federal Government," stated one of the agents. "And," replied Michael. This is your peoples responsibility, you know this right," stated Michael. "Detective, has the entity been detained," asked the agents. "No, we tried to kill it but as you can see, this is what happened," replied Michael. That's all Michael had to say so he got in his car and drove off. In actuality, the two men were the scientific liaisons between the United States and the Egyptian government who found I,AM and wanted it back to analyze it, despite, the fatalities and devastation it left behind. Nevertheless, Detective Zeiss wanted to destroy it for the pain it caused society and his brother wanted it dead for what it could do to the future of all man kind and earth.
The sofa at the precinct was looking good at that time, Michael could not go home yet, he had to think things through and he did not want to scare his wife. As the late afternoon moved on into the part of the evening clock. Michael had to turn on his head lights as he pulled off from the precinct. While, Michael picked up his cell phone at the light which was laying on the passenger seat, I,AM appeared in the back seat. Michael was frozen and could not move his feet off the brake pedal. I,AM raised his hand and stopped time around Michael's car. I,AM spoke and said, "the world will come to an end despite your feeble tries to destroy me. Have you seen your sun lately? On my resurrection day your sun began to die. There's a black spot in the middle of the sun and as minutes roll into hours this spot will become larger and larger. When the sun brightness is engulfed in a total black coat of evil it will die." "What will happen then," asked Michael? I,AM spoke and said, "this world will be totally mind and your human souls will be mine."
Suddenly, I,AM disappeared and time resumed around his car. Instantaneously, police officer banged on his car door window and Michael, being startled by the noise turned quickly. "Detective Zeiss are you all right," screamed the officer on the outside. Michael reached over and rolled the window down. "Sure, Officer Brown," replied Michael as he caught glimpse of the badge on his chest. Michael told the officer thank you and sped to the precinct station and collapsed, falling asleep on his office couch.

CHAPTER TEN

EVIL'S PLAYGROUND

The next morning Michael awoke to a high pitched sound, it was a commotion on the outside of his office. He stumbled off the couch and walked to the door, first pulling his blinds up on the window. The surprise almost popped his eyes out of his head, people were running around everywhere. Even Doctor Wells, the psychiatrist was checking her gun as she raced down the stairs. Finally, Michael opened the door and yelled out, "what the hell is going on out here?" One of the officers replied, "yeah you are right about hell, your friend is standing downtown in the middle of an intersection." "Why didn't anyone wake me," asked Michael? "Well sir, we all agreed that since you had such a rough day yesterday, you might be extremely worn down." The officer turned, zipped his flack jacket and ran down the stairs and Michael was very much right behind him in, grabbing his other gun from under the desk. When Michael arrived on the scene the police had I,AM cornered. Detective Zeiss approached, there is no way out of this." "I,AM replied, your world is coming to an end. The sun will be covered with darkness soon and then I will summon Satan. His soldiers will come from hell to become my servants. "Why then, why not now," asked Michael? "When the sun's brightness is covered my powers will become matchable to God," answered I,AM. "I have all ready won," spoke I,AM. "Fire, fire," shouted Michael! The officers opened fire and bullets rang everywhere. I,AM took a deep breath sucking all the air from the area. Michael fell to his knees trying to catch his breath along with the other officers that were trying to breathe and still fire shots and the people working in the area behind that yellow tape could not breathe either. It seemed like the end of Michael and the world.
Suddenly, Michael remembered the zoo and with every ounce of his strength Michael grabbed his amulet from under his shirt
and the amulet began to glow blue causing Michael began breathe easily. But like outer-space there was no air, so gravity prevailed and the bullets just floated right past I,AM. As I,AM finished taking the air, he spoke and said, "I know of your brother, he is the one that found the Golden Scroll. God calls him the Golden Messenger of God. But I will destroy you both. "My brother is dead," screamed Michael. Always thinking that his brother was some how watching over him. "No, I feel his presence, nevertheless, I will kill you and your spiritual Golden Messenger. He will be no problem even with his powers from God," spoke I,AM.
I,AM then raised his hands up on both sides and just fell backwards, hitting the ground breaking into little pieces of crystals and vanished. Michael in a state of bewilderment just walked away down the street. Finally, he made it to an area of downtown where people were walking, his eyes wondered out of control, fixating his vision on each and every person walking down the street.
Quickly, Michael spotted I,AM just casually walking down the other side of the street, parting the sea of citizens as he walked in the middle of the side walk. Slowly, I,AM turned to Michael and Michael's eyes grew larger by the ticks on a clock. Michael reached into his holster, pulled out his nine, and with a burst of energy Michael jumped into traffic trying to get over to I,AM. I,AM started to walk a little faster, bumping people as they moved slow to get out of his way. As Michael stepped up on the curve he yelled, "freeze". People panicked and started to disperse in all directions. As the people scattered Michael had an open shoot, but could not take it, because people were moving so fast that his shoot window only stayed open for a few seconds. It was not enough to get off a good shot. Lowering his nine millimeter, Michael began to chase I,AM. I,AM never ran, he continued walking at a fast pace. However, as Michael started to collide with citizens as he ran after I,AM. He started to turn his head, trying to apologize to people as he bumped them.
Suddenly, something supernatural started to happen. As Michael faced forward to continue his chase after I,AM. Devilishly, the people Michael bumped started to look like I,AM. Michael stopped and as he looked around the entire downtown area of people looked and dressed like I,AM. Michael was exhausted, he bent over and grabbed his knees giving up the chase after I,AM. This persisted for about a minute or so and then Michael stood straight up and began to walk in the opposite direction of I,AM.
As he moved further from the vicinity of this evil phenomenon the people began to convert to their original selves. While Michael was walking away into the crowd, I,AM was making his way to the under ground El, the red line getting on the train going South to ninety-fifth street.
Now, making his way to the door that connected the train with the other train, I,AM stood facing the passengers with his back against the doors. "Roosevelt, Chinatown, Thirty Fifth Street," yelled the conductor. The passengers on the train car were not aware of what kind of evil that occupied their train car. The conductor called out fifty ninth the doors opened and three young men entered. They were all street thugs, with nothing on their minds but to rob and steal. They entered on the other end of the train car trying to survey the car for potential victims. They eventually made it to the zone I,AM was standing in. The first young man who was the biggest ordered I,AM to give him his wallet. Then, the other two joined in on the conversation.
Suddenly, without warning they all pulled out a knife, however, I,AM did not blink or even acknowledge their weapons. The first man became overcome with rage and plunged the knife in to I,AM's stomach and left the knife there. I,AM slowly reached down and pulled the knife from his stomach and dropping it on the ground. Seeing this, they tried to run, but there was nowhere to run, the train was not at its scheduled stop yet. So thinking wisely they ran to the door and pulled the emergency stop. But time was running out of them, I,AM had boxed them in with their backs against the exit doors so their only alternative was to fight. The first man took a swing at I,AM while the other two tried to maneuver around to his blind side. His punch hit I,AM dead in his eye, hurting his own hand. Then without warning I,AM through a punch back at him. When I,AM struck him, his flesh vanished leaving nothing but his bones, holding the remains of this body for a minute and then dropping it on to the train's floor. By this time the other two had reached his blind side. They didn't have a chance I,AM stared at them and his eyes propelled a cloudy beam of light
that engulfed them, leaving nothing but bones. The passengers were hysterical so I,AM waved his hand and they fell victim to the vanishing of their flesh, their bones plunging to the floor with a crashing sound. I,AM pushed the doors open and before he jumped out of the train car, noticed one lone women, the only survivor of the whole ordeal grasping an ancestral cross that was around her neck. I,AM turned from her and vaulted out on to the energized rail of the train tracks. The women looked out of her window and the electricity off the rails shot up everywhere, busting out all of the windows of the train. She placed her head in her knees and when she raised her head, I,AM had disappeared.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

T H E E N D I N G

That evening, Michael pulled into his driveway from a terrible day. On his car radio, he picked up the nine-one one call. I,AM was seen at the 59th street train platform and there were fatalities. As Michael sat there listening and staring at his radio, he took a moment to glance up at his bedroom window thinking about all the long nights away from his wife. So after careful deliberation Michael turned his car radio off, got out of the car, and went in to the house. Taking a shower and crawling into bed with his Sarah waking her as he positioned himself, grabbing two pillows placing them up on the head board to rest his head. He laid his nine millimeter on the night stand and Sarah laid her head on his chest, telling him she loved him, falling fast asleep. Michael stayed up for a while, staring at the ceiling and after about an half an hour, Michael joined his wife falling fast asleep.
While Michael slept, Kumhuma was across town in his
apartment praying. As Michael fell into a deep dream state, Kumhuma came to him in his dream. Michael's dream was void of illumination except their bodies glowing like fluorescent light bulbs. "Michael," Kumhuma yelled out. "Who are you," asked Michael? He could not see his face because Kumhuma's back was to him. Michael tried to maneuver around to see the face of this person who spoke to him. Nevertheless, every-time Michael would move, Kumhuma would move too. This is what Michael thought but actually, the void moved with Michael's every step. "Who am I is not your concern," spoke Kumhuma. "The creature known to you as I,AM is growing stronger and the world will come to an end in a few days. In the morning look up at the sun and you will see the blackness getting larger," stated Kumhuma. "What can I do, my bullets will not hurt it," asked Michael? "When the sun is engulfed with darkness nothing will be able to stop it........but," stated Kumhuma. "But what," replied Michael? "I will come to you soon and we both will battle this evil together. The Lance of Transgression which hangs around your neck," stated Kumhuma. "That's what its called, but what about it," replied Michael? "Take the Lance of Transgression into your hand and when it glows, cast your hands onto your bullets, then your bullets will hurt I,AM. However, this is only good until the sun has fully blackened, after that it will be no stopping it," spoke Kumhuma.
Suddenly, Kumhuma faded away without Michael ever knowing that he was his brother. "Wait, wait," yelled Michael. Instantly, Michael awoke staring down at his wife who was still laying on his chest. Michael eased himself out of bed, trying not to wake Sarah, pulling his gun box from under his bed, grabbed his nine, and went down the stairs to the kitchen. He took out four boxes on nine millimeter rounds, opening each
one of them, grabbed the Lance of Transgression, and held it tight until the amulet started to glow. He felt the Godly energy emanating from it, laying his hand upon each box making the bullets glow for a moment, and then the glow faded away being the blessed by the highest power known to man; God. Michael then loaded ten clips with his blessed ammo, not forgetting about the clip that was in his nine. After blessing his ammo he put everything away, went upstairs, crawled back in to bed with his wife, and went to sleep.

The next morning, Michael awoke putting his dream out of his mind and proceeded to do his usual routine. He walked down stairs and went to the front door to retrieve the morning paper off of the front steps. To his surprise , there in front of him stood a four legged opal colored cat on his front step with greenish eyes. The green eyes did not strike him as peculiar at that time, so he tried to wave the cat away. However, this cat
was not in the mood for running. After trying several attempts to get rid of the cat. Michael closed the door, walked to the kitchen, and sat the paper on the table. His wife asked him to grab the garbage and take it out for her. "No problem," replied Michael. As Michael opened the door to his surprise there was the same black cat standing in front of him again. At that instant, Sarah screamed loud and Michael dropped the garbage and slammed the back door.
After searching for a moment Michael finds Sarah in the bathroom in the corner next to the toilet shaking. "What happened Sarah," asked Michael? "When I looked in the mirror there was a image of a black cat with greenish eyes staring at me," answered Sarah. Michael moved toward the mirror cautiously, until he was dead center and there in the mirror he saw the black cat, not just staring, but moving also. "I,AM" in a loud voice, spoke the black cat, shattered the mirror into pieces. Michael grabbed Sarah and both of them ran out of the bathroom keeping his back to the bathroom while holding Sarah, until they made their way to kitchen. Michael sat Sarah down at the table and left her for a moment to get his gun out of his holster in the living room. "Stay in here Sarah," yelled Michael. "Be careful baby," Sarah cried out. Michael proceeded to the bathroom, taking cover on the side of the door in a tactical position. One... two...three Michael counted in his mind then took a deep breathe and kicked the door in, with his gun in position to fire. However, something strange had happen the bathroom was clear, the mirror was back to its original state, and the black cat had vanished. Sarah had eased up on Michael touching his shoulder. "Are you all right Sarah," asked Michael? "Yes," relied Sarah. Michael leaned back against the base of the door taking another deep breathe.
Suddenly, Michael moved Sarah to the side, realizing that he had just saw the black cat at the back door. Michael shuffled to the back door, grabbed the door knob, and pulled with great force. When the door hit the side of the stove, he placed his foot in the way for its return. Surprising them, there in front of him stood the black cat. Michael did not think, he just began to unload his nine at the cat, hitting it several times. The cat screamed out from the pain because the blessed bullets were hitting it. Yet, it just vanished right before Michael's eyes. The green blood that laid on the ground; suddenly seeped into the ground and vanished also.
After everything died down and the cat was gone, Michael was rather impatient about getting to work to find this monster. "I have to go to work baby," whispered Michael. "Go baby, I will be all right," replied Sarah. As Michael made it to the front door. Sarah spoke and said, "Michael kill that abomination and you better come back to me." "I will Sarah and I'll be all right," replied Michael. Driving to work Michael noticed the leaves were gathering icicles on them and the summer morning warmth was becoming saturated with cold air. Peoples stopped their cars, pulling over to the side of the road looking up at the blackening sun. Because the evil dark spot had almost covered the sun and this was not the only thing that happened. Lake Michigan had formed a thin sheet of ice on its surface. It was chaos in the streets of the city and it was getting colder every hour as if time had stood still in the beginning stages of an ice age. Michael finally made it to the station he pulled into his parking space out front of the building and saw vehicles with governmental plates and trucks with high-tech equipment to track down I,AM. There was also a containment unit with wheels that measured 60 feet long and 15 feet high made of material that the government could only have. When Michael entered his office there were two federal agents, Dr.Wells, Steward Roth who was the Archaeologist, a
Reverend, and the Mayor. "Come on in Detective Zeiss," asked the Mayor. "You giving orders in my own office Mayor," asked Michael? "There's no time for this Detective, the Federal government is taking over the case. They have briefed us of the situation and we believe they can handled it," stated the Mayor. "Well good luck to you all," replied Michael. "Detective Zeiss, we have lost enough men trying to capture I,AM. Let the government have a try," stated the doctor. "You haven't lost anybody, those were my men," replied Michael. "Detective Zeiss we all appreciate the good work you have done to try to stop this entity," stated Stewart Roth. "Who are you," asked Michael? "I am the chief archaeologist on this cast and these two men are with me," replied Stewart Roth. "Well, well, now we are cooking with gasoline," mutters Michael. The reverend moved over to the door and spoke, "gentlemen, gentlemen, it is not human, it is not a man, it is an abomination and if we don't stop it, it will destroy the world." "What about public
awareness," noted the Mayor? "Public awareness Mayor, the public already knows," explained Michael. "There are thousands of calls coming in to my office every hour. There's news cameras everywhere," shouted the Mayor. "Well look at it like this Mayor," replied Michael. "If we don't find away to stop I,AM you will not have to worry about calls. It wanted be anyone around to make them," stated Michael. The Mayor walked over to Michael and said, "detective I want you to work closely with Mr. Roth and his people to apprehend this thing," asks the Mayor. "What ever you say Mayor," replied Michael. Michael walked to the door, but was stopped by a question from the reverend. "Detective, do you believe in God." "Not for a long time," replied Michael. "What about now," asked the reverend? "Now and forever more, you can bet your last baptism on that," stated Michael. Michael left the room and proceeded to the bathroom to throw so water on his face, but
when he returned to his office everyone was gone. All alone he sat at his desk, kicked his feet up, and stared into outer space, waiting for a sighting of I,AM to come across the radio or T.V.. Yet, Michael stayed at the office all that day with not a murmur of I,AM across anyone lips; including his.
The evening was close at hand and Michael had made a few calls to his house to check on his Sarah. But for some strange reason around eight o'clock there was no answer, at eight-thirty there was no answer, and at nine o' clock. Michael began to worry, so he tried one more time, but the same thing happened, no answer. Michael jetted out of the precinct to his car. Michael wasn't aware that the government was outside monitoring his every move. All he could think of at that time was to get home to Sarah. Finally, after a few miles Michael spotted the government following him. So being a cop he used his driving abilities to elude them, leaving them with no idea where he was going.
Successfully, Michael reached his house without the governments surveillance, pulled into the drive away, jumping out and looked up at his bedroom window, but there where no lights on.
As he continued up the walkway to the front door, the house was silent. Michael placed his key in the door and turned the knob. "Sarah, Sarah, are you in here, it's me Michael," shouted Michael. There was no reply Sarah did not return his beckoning. Michael roamed the first floor, examining the kitchen, the living room, and the bathroom, but no Sarah.
As he proceed to go up the stairs, he began to hear noises coming from his bedroom. Michael raised his gun to firing position and continued up the stairs. The door was closed so Michael leaned on the side of the wall to the door, jumped back and kicked the door open. There to his surprise was Sarah on top making love to another man. The kick from the door scared Sarah, so she rolled over pulling the covers up to her chest. "Michael," yelled Sarah." Sarah looked down at the man she thought was Michael. "What the fuck is going on here Sarah," asked Michael? At that point, the man who was making love to his wife raised up. It was Michael, staring at Michael. "What is going on Michael," shouted Sarah? Suddenly, the man that laid next to Sarah that she thought was her husband, turned into the entity I,AM. "Get over here Sarah," yelled Michael. Sarah jumped out of bed and ran over to Michael. "I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry baby," spoke Sarah shivering out of control. Michael opened fire, and bullets filled I,AM and the wall behind him. I,AM jumped out of bed in his birthday suit to his feet making a loud crashing noise, pausing for a second and runs to the closed window as Michael continued to fire. As I,AM streaked across the room his clothes formed on his body and out the window he jumped, landing on his feet, leaving a crater were he stood. When I,AM raises up, there in front of him was Kumhuma in all white. I,AM stared for a moment, feeling the power that Kumhuma had.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew of enormous power, making the trees dance and I,AM was gone. As Michael looked down out of his window, he could see Kumhuma standing there, motionless. Michael ran outside to face this man in white. A force, or something made Michael's inner soul pulsate as he stood there in front of Kumhuma. "Brother is it you," asked Michael? "Yes brother it is me," replied Kumhuma. "Are you the one that came to me in my dream," asked Michael. "The same one, its been a long time brother," replied Kumhuma. Kumhuma walked over to Michael, meeting Michael half way and they hugged. "I've missed you brother, stated Michael." " I you, replied Kumhuma." "Michael, who is that you are talking too," asked Sarah. "Its my brother Kumhuma," answered
Michael. "Bring him in here and be careful out there," asked Sarah. Kumhuma and Michael walked to the front door, Kumhuma stopping before he broke the threshold. Sarah had made her way from up stairs as Michael stops. "Kumhuma what's wrong," asks Michael? "My brother, I must prepare for our final battle with I,AM," explained Kumhuma. "Sarah you are very beautiful. I am glad my brother has you. He will need your strength. We have no time to waste brother, we can discuss are lives later," stated Kumhuma. "Michael do you still have the gift I sent you along time ago," asked Kumhuma. "The statuette," replied Michael. Michael ran upstairs and on his dresser was the statuette, grabbing it running back down stairs and presenting it to his brother. "What will this do Kumhuma, its just a statuette," asked Michael? "Don't tell me it has some kind of powers," remarked Michael. "No, Michael it doesn't, but what it has in it does," replied Kumhuma.
Kumhuma twisted the bottom of the statuette and pulled out a vile which contained the untouchable water. "The Lance of Transgression, the untouchable water, and your faith in God along, with my faith may be able to defeat I,AM," explained Kumhuma." Michael turned and looked into the eyes of his wife. Sarah gave him a nod, some kind of blessing
of her own, I guess. "Meet me at that abandoned warehouse on Century Street, that will be our battle ground. Bring the water
and the amulet," asked Kumhuma. Michael and Sarah turn away as if to go in the house but Michael needed to know something.
"Brother, how will you get I,AM to come to the warehouse," asked Michael. "In the Golden Scroll it was said that I,AM believed he was stronger than God, this was his weakness. I,AM knows its time to battle, he will come to me. For I am the Messenger of God," explained Kumhuma. Sarah and Michael turned to close the door, Sarah looked back and Kumhuma had
disappeared. Michael did not know the Feds had bugged his car with a tracking device. So they eventually caught up with him at his house and waited. Michael prepared himself mentally for the worst case scenario, loading up with all the ammo he could carry and the excess too. Departing his dwelling for a date with pure evil Michael told Sarah to get in her car and go to her mother's house. He said, if she did not hear from him in a few hours, he didn't make it.
The sun was completely covered with blackness and the ground was ice cold. Street lights that dawned the block had blown from the coldness of the air and it was now or never. "The subject is on the move, please be advised that we want the where about of I,AM, so don't lose him," stated Stewart Roth. Michael arrived at the abandoned warehouse but Kumhuma had not made it yet. The agents pulled up on Michael at the same time as Kumhuma appears from out of the
darkness. "Don't shoot him, that's my brother," yelled Michael. "Detective Zeiss, nice to see you here. You can get a first hand look on how we capture I,AM," stated Stewart Roth. "You can't capture him, he must be destroyed," spoke Kumhuma. "We'll see about that," replied Stewart Roth. "Team one and two into the warehouse, teams three and four cover the area," yelled Stewart Roth.
As Kumhuma, Michael, and the agents entered into the warehouse. There in front of them glowing, was I,AM, laying in wait. The entire warehouse was very cold and ice was forming on the steel beams that held up the decaying structure. "I,AM," spoke I,AM. The windows shook, the ground beneath their feet trembled in fear, and the insides of the agents ears began to bleed. The agents had weapons that shot bolts of energy like a tazer gun. "Upon fire," yelled Stewart Roth! All at once the tazers struck I,AM and they thought they had him. "Bring in the containment module," ordered Stewart Roth. They enclosed I,AM in the unit and sealed it shut with electrical cords. "See Detective and brother he can be contained," spoke Stewart Roth.
Suddenly, the unit began to gather ice that glowed red as rubies and the heat was so hot that the closest agents to the containment unit disintegrated. The unit began to melt down like wax and I,AM stood there drawing energy from the dead black sun.
Miraculously, I,AM disappeared so Stewart Roth gave the order to find it. "Team three do you see any sign of I,AM," asked Stewart Roth. Gun shots rang out from the outside of the warehouse. I,AM had possessed one of the agents, making him kill everyone standing out there. Soon after the gun fire ended, and there was silence in the warehouse and outside. Suddenly, a section of the warehouse wall was blown opened and there stood I,AM with a smile on his face and in his hand were the souls of every dead man out there. I,AM dropped their souls to the ground and stumped them in to hell. "My son come join your father," spoke I,AM. In that very instance Satan
himself rose from the bowls of hell to accompany I,AM. "No containment, no containment, shoot to kill," yelled Stewart Roth. Michael and Kumhuma stood next to each other, they could not help Stewart Roth and his people, I,AM and Satan had joined to destroy them. Even though I,AM did not need Satan's help it was more like a disrespect against God for still using one of his angels.
Now, the real battle was about to begin. Michael pulled his nine and began to shoot, emptying his clip. But nothing effected them, so thinking on his feet Michael through two grenades in the path of them. Kumhuma and Michael took cover, but after the smoked cleared I,AM and Satan was still standing. It was time for Kumhuma to meet his destiny, so he went out front to stand toe to toe with them. "You are the Messenger of God," spoke I,AM. "Yes I,AM and I will defeat you," replied Kumhuma. I,AM formed a spear like rod made of pure evil energy and flung it at Kumhuma. "Watch out brother," yelled Michael. Kumhuma glowed in perfect white when the rod struck him, knocking him down to his knees. "So the Messenger of God is not that strong after all. The years have made you weak. Oh that's right, the pure darkness drains your powers of faith," stated I,AM. "Let me have him , let me have," yelled Satan. "Very well," replied I,AM. Satan formed a steel walking demon out of the steel that was laying around. It jumped out on Kumhuma and started beating him. "No," yelled Michael! Michael grabbed his amulet and pointed it at Satan. When Satan saw what Michael had in his hand, Satan retreated to the underworld, seeing the power of God in that amulet and did not want any parts of it. Unfortunately, Kumhuma was hurt bad and was breathing heavily, so Michael sat him to the side. "Me and you I,AM," yelled Michael. The cold freezing temperature was getting to Michael and he could not feel his hands. I,AM ran towards Michael at lightning speed, grabbing him and through him into a pile of wood beams. Michael got up pretty slow as I,AM stood over him laughing.
Suddenly, Michael touched the Lance of Transgression and his body began to glow. He raised his hands toward I,AM and something invisible came out of his hands raising I,AM off the ground, hurting I,AM for a minute but I,AM grew stronger as the darkness stayed. ÔPut me down,I am I,AM," shouted I,AM. The temperature in the warehouse went from cold to hot as the whole entire warehouse melted down covering them with the darkness of night. Kumhuma and Michael were fine the amulet shielded them from the heat and the melting steel. "This is my world now, bow down to me," ordered I,AM. "Never will I or my brother bow down to you," replied Michael. "For you Messenger of God and you pathetic human I will save a slave task for you in my kingdom,"shouted I,AM. "Give me the water now, we must strike him with the Lance of Transgression," ordered Kumhuma. Michael gathered all the power of the amulet and unleashed a bright ray of light that could illuminate the universe, at I,AM. I,AM was caught off guard and was in a little pain until he recapture his power from the blast. Kumhuma jumped up, barely living , opened up the untouchable water, and ran straight to I,AM grabbing hold to him. "Kumhuma, no what are you doing," yelled Michael? Kumhuma poured the untouchable water on I,AM. "Michael the Lance, shoot it again, now," yelled Kumhuma. "No," yelled Michael! "If you love me and your wife you'll do it," replied Kumhuma. Michael pulled all the power out of the amulet and shot it at Kumhuma and I,AM. There was a great light and a explosion that was so loud Michael had to cover his ears. The ground and the heavens opened up.
Suddenly, a voice came from heaven and said: " thank you
my son, you and your brother have fulfilled your destiny," spoke God. "But my brother Lord," asked Michael. "Your brother shall be with me," replied God. The heavens closed, and the hell gate stayed open a little longer. So Michael walked over to it and gazed in to the pit of hell and whispered: "I,AM , you will never be God." The sun started to make its way back from the darkness, the temperature began to warm up, and the evil stench that filled the air, disappeared. As Michael walked away to his car, he looked down for the amulet but it was gone. Making it to his car, he took one more look at the destruction I,AM had done. However, there in the smoke glowing brighter than every was Kumhuma, with the Golden Scroll in one hand and the Lance of Transgression in the other he spoke and said: "You are my brother and a Messenger of God. Peace be with you, all the days of your life."

Lucifer's jealousy of God ignites a war between God's Army and Lucifer's followers. As the war ends, God and his army conquers Lucifer, banishing him from Heaven to rule in hell for all eternity. However, Lucifer did not gather his jealousy of God and the thought of war by himself. Lucifer was tempted and manipulated, to think he could defeat God by an unknown evil just as powerful as God. Its name was no name, it was neither good nor evil, and it was neither merciful nor malicious.
