*Maitreya and the Second Coming*

Q:  In Christianity they have the coming of the Messiah, the Second Coming
of Christ; and in Buddhism they have the coming of the Buddha, Maitreya.
Is that the same analogy being played out again?

B:  Yes.  Yes.  And again, remember that the idea of the so-called second
coming is the awaking of /that/ consciousness within each and every one of
/you/.  Not the idea of an individual embodiment returning, though there will
be symbols of that idea.  The awakening /within/ each and every one of
you /is/ the actual so-called Second Coming.  Make sense?
